We struggle for peace on earth for everyone!
This is a war with no one get hurt physically!
It is a war against evil no one get hurt! How is it possible?
This was how old George Bush, president of the United State of America did it.
He went to war against Iraq. He told them the spot the war plane will bomb!
I thought it was funny! But this is one way to fight a war and wish no one get hurt!
A. Here is the Bible way!
1. Our struggle is not against flesh and blood. Eph.6:12
May the world beware! We are not against flesh and blood. This way no living human get hurt!
2. We struggle against the rulers, the authorities, the powers of this dark world and the spiritual
forces of evil in the heavenly realms.
Be very careful how you interpret this verse! Especially when comes to “struggle against the rulers”!
Does this mean rulers mean heads of notions? Please be sure to read all the way to the end.
Apostle Paul added 3 comas in the following! Our struggle is against the spiritual forces of evil.
And it says, these spiritual forces of evil are in the heavenly realms!
3. Heavenly realms mean within the boundary of the churches of Christ!
4. Our struggle is to eliminate all spiritual forces of evil in the churches of Christ!
B. This is God’s plan for peace on earth!
1. Jesus came to build his church! Matt.16:18
2. The church is to be church of Christ! Romans 16:16
3. Church of Christ is about righteousness and peace and joy in the Holy Spirit. Ro.14:17
4. Righteousness in human heart is the first and most important step to peace on earth!
5. Confucius philosophers offered this way: Righteousness in the heartà harmony in the homeà
Order in the nation à peace on earth!
6. This is Jesus’ way à Preach the gospel to all human à human be converted into his church!
7. Churches of Christ is to be everywhere on earth!
When churches of Christ are everywhere, all evils are out of the world. Thus peace on earth!
8. This is how peace on earth for all people with no flesh and blood get hurt!
C. Here is the full armor of God in our struggle for peace on earth!
1. The belt of truth buckled around your waist. Eph.6:13
What is in the New Testament Bible is the truth. Here is the strength in our struggle false teachings!
2. The breastplate of righteousness on your chest! Eph.6:14
Righteousness on your chest will scare the devil’s gust out!
3. With your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace. Eph.6:15
Make no mistake, the gospel of Christ is also called the gospel of peace!
4. The gospel is to be preached, believed, repent and be baptized for forgiveness of sins and receive
the gift of the Holy Spirit.
This would create righteousness doing people build churches of Christ everywhere!
5. Take up the shield of faith, with it you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one! Eph.6:16
Now you know why I can always say, this is what says in the Bible!
Do not say, I said it. When you do, you committed one more sin and that is wrongly accused John!
6. Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God. Eph.6:17
Now you know why I always say, is this in the Bible? Is that in the Bible?
Don’t tell me what you or other said, tell what the Bible says!
Is the name of your church in the Bible? This simple question extinguish all flaming arrows!
D. Conclusion: Jesus was born for this!
1. Jesus was born so that there will be glory to God in the highest and peace on earth for men! Lk.2:14
2. Look like we have to wait for Jesus’ 2nd coming to finish this work! Matt.13:41-43
Jesus will send out his angels, and they will weed out of his church everything that causes sin and all
who do evil. The angels will throw them into the fiery furnace, where there will be weeping
gnashing of teeth. Then the righteous will shine like the sun in the kingdom of their Father.
He who has ears, let him hear.
3. When the righteous shine like the sun, our struggle for peace is accomplished!
4. God’s and our parts are done.
We are waiting for you to join with us in the church of Christ!
Do not look at others, look into your heart! Do you want the world to have peace?
If the world have no peace, it is because you are not in the churches of Christ!
Please remember, church of Christ is the way
God wants the world to give glory to him in the highest and peace to men on earth! Luke 2:14
