The word that save souls.

The word that save souls.

Preface:

Man has 3 lives--> spirit and soul and body. 1 Thes.5:23There are 2 ‘ands’ between these three.

No one can miss this message!

As I said, anyone who read only the NIV Bible has no chance to save their souls!

Here are 3 reasons!

1. They changed the word flesh into sinful nature!

In the book of Galatians they changed 6 "flesh" into “sinful nature”: 5:13, 16, 17, 19, 24 and 6:28.

If you do not know this, your souls have no chance for salvation in the Lord.

2. The NIV Bible translated James 1:21 as-->

James 1:21 Therefore, get rid of all moral filth and the evil that is so prevalent and humbly accept the word planted in you,

    which can save you. (NIV)

Read this verse only from NIV Bible, you never know this truth -->

    The word that save souls!

    They translated 1 Thes.5:23 this way-->

1Thes 5:23 May God himself, the God of peace, sanctify you through and through.

May your whole spirit, soul and body be kept blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.

If you pay attention, you see, they replaced the word ‘and’ between spirit and soul with a ','.

In the original text the 2nd part of this verse is this-->

May your whole spirit and soul and body be kept blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Do you know of one who read only NIV Bible study his NIV Bible this way?

3. The NIV Bible translated Proverb 2:7 this way!

Pro 2:7 God holds victory in store for the upright, he is a shield to those whose walk is blameless.

Pro 2:7 God lays up sound wisdom for the upright; a shield to them that walk in integrity; (ASV)

If one reads only NIV Bible, he will never connect this verse to Romans 14:17.

And they will never know, God lays up sound wisdom for people who are in the churches of Christ!

Do you know the Lord added the saved people in a church of Christ? Acts 2:47

A. Our main scripture for this study is James 1:21

Wherefore putting away all filthiness and overflowing of wickedness, receive with meekness the implanted word,

which is able to save your souls. (ASV)This verse itself tells us:

1. to save your souls, you have to keep putting away all filthiness and overflowing of wickedness.

2. to save your souls, you have receive with meekness the implanted word.

3. How the word of the Lord can be implanted in you!?

As right now, you are listening to my preaching, you receive this message with meekness and

you let it stay in your soul.

4. Apostle Peter put it this way! 1 Peter 2:1-2

Putting away therefore all wickedness, and all guile, and hypocrisies, and envies, and all evil speaking,

as newborn babes, long for the spiritual milk which is without guile, that ye may grow thereby in salvation; (ASV)

B. This is how you do it!

1. Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him,

    If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed;

And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free. John 8:31-32

2. Now when they heard this, they were pricked in their heart, and said unto Peter and to the rest of the apostles,

Men and brethren, what shall we do?

Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ

for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. (KJV) Acts 2:37-38

3. They devoted themselves to the apostles' teaching and to the fellowship, to the breaking of bread

    and to prayer. Acts 2:42

4. Heb 10:24 and let us consider one another to provoke unto love and good works; not forsaking our own assembling together,

as the custom of some is, but exhorting (one another); and so much the more,   as ye see the day drawing nigh. (ASV) Heb.10:24-25

C. Watch for people who distort the truth to their own destruction! 2 Peter 3:16

2 Pet 3:16 He writes the same way in all his letters, speaking in them of these matters.

His letters contain some things that are hard to understand, which ignorant and unstable people distort,

as they do the other Scriptures, to their own destruction. (NIV)

2 Cor. 4:3 And even if our gospel is veiled, it is veiled in them that perish:
