You cannot be nice all the time!
Preface: 1. All unrighteousness is sin… 1 John 5:17
2. Therefore to him that knows to do good, and does it not, to him it is sin. James 4:17
Bully is unrighteousness either way!
Bully other or tolerate being bullied is unrighteousness either way!
Church of Christ (Kingdom of Heaven) is about righteousness and peace and joy in the Holy Spirit. Ro.14:17
There is absolutely no bully in the churches of Christ. No one bully other, no one is to be bullied!
As a good will gesture, when people park car block drive way, I said, if you stay with the car, we let you!
If you park and leave, I will call police to give you a ticket and then tow your car!
A. We follow Jesus as people gentle and humble in heart. Matt.11:28-29
1. There is a time to love and a time to hate, a time to war and a time for peace. Ecc.3:8
By the grace of God, 40 years, here in N.Y.C. We can call police to help us see righteousness practice by all!
2. In the meantime be sure of this! 2 Cor.10:3-6
For though we live in the world, we do not wage war as the world does. 2 Cor.10:3
3. The weapons we fight with are not the weapons of the world. 2 Cor.10:4
4. On the contrary, the weapons we fight with have divine powers to demolish strongholds. 2Cor,10:4
5. We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and
we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ. 2 Cor.10:5
6. We will be ready to punish every act of disobedience, once your obedience is complete. 2 Cor.10:6
B. When the Lord’s work was disturbed, Jesus got angry! Mark 3:1-5
1. Another time he went into the synagogue, and a man with a shriveled hand was there. Mk.3:1
2. Some of them were looking for a reason to accuse Jesus, so they watched him closely to see if he
would heal him on the Sabbath. Mark 3:2
3. Jesus said to the man with the shriveled hand, "Stand up in front of everyone." Mark 3:3
4. Then Jesus asked them: Which is lawful on the Sabbath: to do good or to do evil, to save life or
to kill? But they remained silent. Mark 3:4
5. He looked around at them in anger and, deeply distressed at their stubborn hearts, said to the man,
"Stretch out your hand." He stretched it out, and his hand was completely restored. Mark 3:5
C. When the Lord’s work disturbed, Jesus got angry! John 2:13-17
1. When it was almost time for the Jewish Passover, Jesus went up to Jerusalem. John 2:13
2. In the temple courts he found men selling cattle, sheep and doves, and others sitting at tables
exchanging money. John 2:14
3. So he made a whip out of cords, and drove all from the temple area, both sheep and cattle;
he scattered the coins of the money changers and overturned their tables. John 2:15
4. To those who sold doves he said, "Get these out of here!
How dare you turn my Father's house into a market!" John 2:16
5. His disciples remembered that it is written: "Zeal for your house will consume me." John 2:17
D. When the Lord’s work was disturbed, Paul got angry! Acts 13:6-12
1. They came to Paphos. There they met a Jewish sorcerer and false prophet named Bar-Jesus, who was
an attendant of the proconsul, Sergius Paulus. The proconsul, an intelligent man, sent for Barnabas
and Saul because he wanted to hear the word of God. Acts 13:6-7
2. But Elymas the sorcerer (for that is what his name means) opposed them and tried to turn the
proconsul from the faith. Acts 13:8
3. Then Saul, who was also called Paul, filled with the Holy Spirit, looked straight at Elymas and said,
"You are a child of the devil and an enemy of everything that is right! You are full of all kinds of deceit
and trickery. Will you never stop perverting the right ways of the Lord? Acts 13:9-10
4. Now the hand of the Lord is against you. You are going to be blind, and for a time you will be unable
to see the light of the sun." Immediately mist and darkness came over him, and he groped about,
seeking someone to lead him by the hand. Acts 13:11
5. When the proconsul saw what had happened, he believed, for he was amazed at the teaching about
the Lord. Acts 13:12
Conclusion: Our hearts are to be gentle and humble. But there is a time to be angry!
When the Lord’s work was disturbed, Jesus got angry, Paul got angry, how about you! 1 Cor.11:1
May the Lord bless you and keep you always!
