       The Bible says about marriage!

A. Marriage is the join together a male and a female. (Mk.10:2-9)

Marriage between a male and a male or a female and a female is against the will of God!

The consequence of such disobedient to God’s will is destruction of the bodies and their souls. (Ro.1:18-27)

Like it or not it is recorded in Ro.1:18-27!

Anyone wants to argue, they have to argue with God, or with the one who wrote these or with the Bible!

B. The English word that pronounce as fornication!

Fornication means the union of two bodies outside of marriage!

Our today’s translation this word means sexual immorality!

1 Cor.6:18 says, people are to flee from fornication.

And it says, every sin that a man commit is outside the body,

but he that committed fornication sinned against his own body.

My God’s given job is to share what the Bible says!

C. Marriage is a God has joined together!

Jesus said: So that they are no more two, but one flesh.

God has joined together, let not man put asunder. (Matt.19:6)

To me this can only mean, once you are married, you get stuck for as long as you live!

   Unless one is not man!

Because the Bible says, let not man put asunder!

The separation of a marriage is a direct repudiation of God’s will!

D. There is one reason for a divorce! (Matt.5:31-32)

It was said, whosoever shall put away his wife, let him give her a writing of divorcement:

(Jesus himself gave this reason!) but I say unto you, that every one that put away his wife,

saving for the cause of fornication, make her an adulteress:

and whosoever shall marry her when she is put away committed adultery.

E. In resurrection there is no given in marriage. (Matt.22:28-29)

… Jesus answered and said unto them, ye do err, not knowing the scriptures, nor the power of God.

In the resurrection they neither marry, nor are given in marriage, but are as angels in heaven.

F. How the two are to function after the are married? (Eph.5:22-28)

Wives, be in subjection unto your own husbands, as unto the Lord.

For the husband is the head of the wife, and Christ also is the head of the church,

being himself the Savior of the body.

As the church is subject to Christ, let the wives also be to their husbands in everything.

Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself up for it.

Even so ought husbands also to love their own wives as their own bodies.

G. Three remedies to help keep them together.

   1. Marry one who is a healthy being! (2 Cor.6:14, Phil.2:2

This means one has a healthy body, soul and spirit!

This way the two may have the same love, mind and purpose in life!

   2. Be ye angry, and sin not:

let not the sun go down upon your anger. (Eph.4:26)

   3. Love record wrongs but not get even. (1 Cor.13:5, Ro.12:19)

May the Lord bless you and keep you!  March, 1, 2008.
