Lift worry and release pressure.

   Lift pressure and release worry!

A. Number one thing on earth is how to keep the body living!

1. Like it or not, this is reality! We all worry about how to keep the body living!

Each day, we all work hard to get things that can keep the body living!

2. Paul said: Let him that stole steal no more: but rather let him labor, working with his hands the thing

that is good, that he may have whereof to give to him that hath need. Eph.4:28

3. God promised Adam even after he committed sin! Gen.3:19

By the sweat of your brow you will eat your food until you return to the ground, since from it you were

taken; for dust you are and to dust you will return.

4. For even when we were with you, this we commanded you,

If any will not work, neither let him eat. 2 Thes.3:10

5. This is one blessing, we still have in America. Even undocumented aliens can work and live!

6. So do not worry about what to eat or what to wear, just work until your brow sweats!

B. Jesus taught not to worry! Matt.6:24-34

1. Be single minded in seeking first his kingdom and his righteousness!

All these things the body needs to live will be given you! Matt.6:33

2. No one can serve 2 masters… you cannot serve God and money together! Matt.6:24

3. Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink, or about your body.

Is not life more important than food, and the body more important than clothes? Matt.6:25

4. Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly

Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they? Matt.6:26

5. Who of you by worrying can add a single hour to his life? Matt.6:27

6. Why do you worry about clothes? See how the lilies of the field grow. They do not labor or spin.

Yet I tell you that not even Solomon in all his splendor was dressed like one of these. Matt.6:28-29

7. If that is how God clothes the grass of the field, which is here today and tomorrow is thrown into

the fire, will he not much more clothe you, O you of little faith? Matt.6:30

8. So do not worry, saying: What shall we eat? or What shall we drink? or What shall we wear?

For the pagans run after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them.

    Matt.6:31-32

9. Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has

enough trouble of its own. Matt.6:34

C. Do not be afraid of physical death!

1. Be not afraid of them that kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him

who is able to destroy both soul and body in hell. Matt.10:28

2. Are not two sparrows sold for a penny? And not one of them shall fall on the ground without your

Father: but the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Matt.10:29-30

3. Fear not therefore: ye are of more value than many sparrows. Matt.10:31

4. Keep your lives free from the love of money and be content with what you have, because God has said:

Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you. Heb.13:5

5. So we say with confidence: The Lord is my helper; I will not be afraid. What can man do to me?He10:6

6. God is the one who set how long we live! Acts 17:26

From one man he made every nation of men, that they should inhabit the whole earth; and he

determined the times set for them and the exact places where they should live.

D. Revenge not yourself! Romans 12:19

1.  Do not take revenge, my friends, but leave room for God's wrath, for it is written:

"It is mine to avenge; I will repay," says the Lord.

2. God is just: He will pay back trouble to those who trouble you. 2 Thes.1:6

3. Alexander the coppersmith did me much evil: the Lord will render to him according to his works:

of whom do thou also beware; for he greatly withstood our words. 2 Tim.4:14-15

E. The Lord’s will be done! Acts 21:10-14

1. In Caesarea, a prophet testified: Paul will be met with great danger in Jerusalem. Acts 21:10-11

2. The people pleaded with Paul not to go to Jerusalem. Acts 21:12

3. Paul would not be dissuaded. We gave up and said: The Lord’s will be done. Acts 21:14

F. Here is my all time favor! Romans 8:28

God makes all things happened to us work for our good, as long as we love God and are called

    according to his will!
