Watch out for evildoers in the church?
Naturally, you wonder! Are there evildoers in the church? How can it be!?
Read these and wonder no more!
1. Now it came to pass on the day when the sons of God came to present themselves before God,
that Satan also came among them. Job 1:6
2. Then Jesus replied: Have I not chosen you, the Twelve? Yet one of you is a devil! Jn.6:70
3. At Apostle Paul’s time there were false apostles, deceitful workers, fashioning themselves into
apostles of Christ. And no marvel; for even Satan fashioned himself into an angel of light.
It is no great thing therefore if his ministers also fashion themselves as ministers of righteousness,
whose end shall be according to their works. 2 Cor.11:13-15
4. Children like to ask me: Why did God created mice, roaches, ants…?
As a joke, I said, so that I can have fun to kill them! It is no fun! I rather they are not around!
In reality, I think it is so that we will keep everything and every where clean and enjoy long life!
Mosquitoes, ants, mice,… ? If we keep everything clean and dry, all these will be no more!
Try it and see if I am right!
5. I suspect, God did not create these, it is human failed to do their job that created these!
Such as I suspect, bed bugs are created because human sleep in their sweat!
6. Since man committed sins, bed bugs, … everything that you hate became a reality!
By the sweat of your brow you will eat your food until you return to the ground, since from it you
were taken; for dust you are and to dust you will return. Gen.3:19
7. The original Hawaiians blame the Mainlanders messed up everything for them!
A. Main scriptures for this study:
1. Keep watch over yourselves and all the flock of which the Holy Spirit has made you overseers.
Be shepherds of the church of Christ, which he bought with his own blood. Acts 20:28
2. I know that after I leave, savage wolves will come in among you and will not spare the flock. 29
3. Even from your own number men will arise and distort the truth in order to draw away disciples
after them. Acts 20:30
4. So be on your guard! Remember that for three years I never stopped warning each of you night and
day with tears. Acts 20:31
5. Now I commit you to God and to the word of his grace, which can build you up and give you an
inheritance among all those who are sanctified. Acts 20:32
6. This is why it is so important to have qualified elders in the church!
B. These are the most dangerous ones! Mattl.7:21-23
Scriptures as recorded: Not everyone who says to me, `Lord, Lord,' will enter the kingdom of heaven,
but only he who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. Many will say to me on that day,
`Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and in your name drive out demons and perform
many miracles?' Then I will tell them plainly, `I never knew you. Away from me, you evildoers!'
1. These people are able to call Jesus: Lord, Lord!
2. These people can preach in Jesus’ name!
3. These people can cast out demons in Jesus’ name!
4. These people can perform many miracles in Jesus’ name!
5. If Jesus didn’t say these: You evil doers. Who dare to say these kind of people are evildoers?
C. Associate with these kind of people in the church and be safe!
1. Now the Bereans were of more noble character than the Thessalonians, for they received the message
with great eagerness and examined the Scriptures every day to see if what Paul said was true. Ac.17:11
2. Remember your leaders, who spoke the word of God to you. Consider the outcome of their way of life
and imitate their faith. Heb.13:7
3. Flee youthful lusts, and follow after righteousness, faith, love, peace, with them that call on the
Lord out of a pure heart. 2 Tim. 2:22
4. You have to do it yourself! Acts 2:42--> They devoted themselves to the apostles' teaching and to the
fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer.
