When come to believe Jesus, you are free to what you wish!
A. 2000 years ago God already know people will do these!
Ten outstanding descriptions from 2 Tim.3:1-8
1. Lovers of themselves. 2. lovers of money. 3. abusive. 4. disobedient to parents. 5. ungrateful.
6. unholy. 7. treacherous. 8. lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God.
9. having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof.
10. always learning but never know the truth!
Jesus pointed out some old tricks people do to the will of God!
1. They worship me in vain; their teachings are but rules taught by men. Mark 7:7
2. You have let go of the commands of God and are holding on to the traditions of men. Mark.7:8
B. Since ancient time God said these!
1. I take no pleasure in the death of the wicked. I rather that he turns from his evil and live! Eze.18:23
2. When the righteous turns away from his righteousness, none of his righteous deeds will be remembered!
He will die for the sin he has committed! Eze.18:24
3. When the wicked turns away from his evil, and do righteousness, he will live. Eze.18:27-28
C. God has set a way for the wicked to live!
1. Believe and is baptized will be saved! Believe not will be condemned! Mark 16:16
2. Apostle Peter gave more details in Acts 2:36-38
Believe Jesus is Lord and Christ, repent and be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of sins and receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.
3. The Lord added these baptized saved people into the churches of Christ. Matt.16:18 Ac.2:47, Ro.16:16.
4, The baptized saved people are not forsake meeting together on Sunday to worship God. Heb.10:25
5. The baptized saved people are to abide in Jesus’ teaching so they will know the truth and the truth will set them free from sins! John 8:31-32
6. Apostle Paul put it this way: Romans 6:21-22
What benefit did you reap at that time from the things you are now ashamed of?
Those things result in death! But now that you have been set free from sin and have become slaves to God, the benefit you reap leads to holiness, and the result is eternal life.
D. May the world know assuredly!
1. God is faith and just. 1 John 1:9
What he said will all come truth!
2. Those believe not will be condemned! Mark 16:16
3. Forsake Sunday worship to God is a trodden Jesus under foot.
4. Forsake Sunday worship to God is a making Jesus’ blood an unholy thing. Heb.10:29
5. But for the fearful, and unbelieving, and abominable, and murderers, and fornicators, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars,
their part (shall be) in the lake that burn with fire and brimstone; which is the second death. Rev.21:8
E. To avoid this second death in hell all the baptized saved people must do these!
Yes, you soul is willing but your body is weak! This is why you must does this!
1. Though I am free and belong to no man, I make myself a slave to everyone, to win as many as possible. 1 Cor.9:19
2. I buffet my body, and bring it into bondage. Lest by any means, after that I have preached to others, I myself should be rejected! 1 Cor.9:27
3. God had done his part, I have to do my part to save my soul from going to hell! Acts 2:40
F. Please listen to Apostle Paul’s advice! Ro.2:6-8
God will give to each person according to what he has done. To those who by persistence in doing good
seek glory, honor and immortality, he will give eternal life.
To those who are self-seeking and who reject the truth and follow evil, there will be wrath and anger.
