Paul preached the gospel, produced churches of Christ!

Paul preached the gospel, produced churches of Christ!

A. Paul preached the word of the Lord in all the towns. Acts 15:36

1. Some time later Paul said to Barnabas: Let us go back and visit the brothers in all the towns where we preached the word of the Lord and see how they are doing.

2. Paul wrote Romans 16:16!

Greet one another with a holy kiss. All the churches of Christ send greetings.

He called those churches as churches of Christ!

3. This correspond to what Jesus said in Matt.16:18.

I tell you that you are Peter, and on this rock I will build my church, and the gates of Hades will not overcome it.

4. Paul advised the elders to feed the church of the Lord. Acts 20:28

Take heed unto yourselves, and to all the flock, in which the Holy Spirit hath made you bishops, to feed the church of the Lord which he purchased with his own blood.

5. The Lord added the saved to the church. Acts 2:47

Praising God, and having favour with all the people. And the Lord added to the church daily such as should be saved.

B. Where comes all these Christianity certain churches on earth? Matt.13:24-30

1. Jesus told them another parable: The kingdom of heaven is like a man who sowed good seed in his field. Matt.13:24

2. But while everyone was sleeping, his enemy came and sowed weeds among the wheat, and went away.

3. When the wheat sprouted and formed heads, then the weeds also appeared. Matt.13:26

4. The owner's servants came to him and said, `Sir, didn't you sow good seed in your field?

Where then did the weeds come from? Matt.13:27

5. Jesus replied: An enemy did this. Matt.13:28

6. The servants asked him: Do you want us to go and pull them up?' Matt.13:28

7. Jesus answered: No,' he answered, `because while you are pulling the weeds, you may root up the wheat with them.

Let both grow together until the harvest. At that time I will tell the harvesters:

First collect the weeds and tie them in bundles to be burned; then gather the wheat and bring it into my barn.13:29-30

C. The seed is the word of God! Luke 8:5-11

1. A farmer went out to sow his seed. As he was scattering the seed, some fell alone the path… Luke 8:5

2. His disciples asked him what this parable meant. Luke 8:9

3. Jesus said: The knowledge of the secrets of the kingdom for God has been given to you, but to others I speak in parables, so that, though seeing,

they may not see, though hearing, they may not understand.

4. This is the meaning of the parable: The seed is the word of God. Luke 8:11

D. There is only one word of God, the gospel of Christ!

1. There is one body and one Spirit-- just as you were called to one hope when you were called-- one Lord, one faith, one baptism. Eph.4:4-5

2. This one faith is the one set of God’s word!

3. Sow different seed, preach a different gospel will be condemned! Gal.1:8

4. Apostle Peter’s warning: Distort God’s word is to their own destruction!

Paul writes the same way in all his letters, speaking in them of these matters.

His letters contain some things that are hard to understand, which ignorant and unstable people distort, as they do the other Scriptures, to their own destruction. 2 Peter 3:16

E. Conclusion: It is easy to detect!

1. Church name! Is this church name written in the Bible?

2. Are these people righteousness doing and law abiding people?

3. Anyone can’t even do this, has to be one of the person described in 2 Peter 3:16!

May the Lord bless you and keep you always! Written on September 9, 2015.
