神要世人以他为圣并且归荣耀给他!
一. 旧约圣经的一个故事. (利未记10:1-3)
亚伦和他的两个儿子在神面前献祭.他的两个儿子在神面前献上凡火,就是神没有吩咐他们的.
就有火从神那里出来,将他们烧死了!然后,摩西对亚伦说,这就是神说,在亲近我的民中,我要显为圣.
在众人眼前我要得荣耀.亚伦就不言了!
我们学习的功课.凡有关敬拜神的事,我们必须依照神所吩咐的.
不然就是死!这就是神要我们以他为圣和表示归荣耀神的方法!
二. 主耶稣在新约圣经有解释! 1. 马可福音7:5-9节
法利赛人和文士问耶稣,为什么你的门徒不遵行长老的传统,不先洗手就吃东西?
从这些经文我们看见,教导圣经的人关心长老的传统.不理会神的道!
主耶稣宣布:这些人用嘴唇尊敬我,心却远离我!马可福音7:6节
他们将人的吩咐当作道理教导人,所以拜我也是枉然!
他们用巧妙的方法将神的命令搁置在一边,谨守人的传统!马可福音7:8-9节
2. 约翰福音4:23-24节
时候将到,现在就是了.那真正拜父的,要用心灵和依照真理拜他.因为父要这样的人拜他.
神是灵,所以拜他的,必须用心灵和依照真理拜他!
三. 主耶稣宣布这些人为作恶的人! (马太福音7:22-23)
到那日必有许多人对我说,主啊,主啊,我们不是奉你的名传道吗?奉你的名赶鬼,奉你的名行许多异能吗?
我就明明的告诉他们说,我从来不认识你们,你们这些作恶的人离开我去罢!
世上许多利用圣经和耶稣的名字为自己制造利益的人,必然会得到这样的命运!
这样的人,自己不能进神的国得永生,也带领跟随他们的人不得永生.又拦阻其他人进入神的国得永生!
四. 所以请你作一个遵行神的说话的人!(雅各书1:22-25节)
你们要行道,不要单单听道,欺骗自己!人听了道不照着遵行的,就像人照镜,看见自己的面貌.
走开就立刻忘记自己的样子.但是那些小心察看全律法,就是叫人得自由的律法(指神的道).
不断的照着遵行.这人就在他遵行神的道的时候得到所应许的福气!
这经文的教训:遵行神的道有两方面的好处.一方面是叫神因我们的言行得着荣耀.
另一方面是自己得着所应许的福气!
所以我们必须紧急照着遵行!照镜子的时候看见脸上有污秽就要立刻洗去.头发乱了要梳好!
不然的话,有照镜和没有照镜,就没有分别!也可以说,照镜子是欺骗自己和浪费时间了!
神的说话是要我们察看我们的言行和思想里有没有恶!有就要立刻改了!依照神的话修改!
这样我们就在信耶稣的事上,不是欺骗自己,并且得以归荣耀给神,也叫自己得着所应许的福气!
若是我们听了道,不遵行,就可能会成为二千年前那些信耶稣的犹太人,既不遵行主的道,却遵行那恶者的意愿,
成为属于撒但的人了!(约翰福音8:31-59)

How God want us to honor him? (Lev.10:1-3)
A. A story in the Old Testament. (Lev.10:1-3)
Aaron and his two sons offered sacrifice to God.
His two sons offered strange fire before God, which God had not commanded them.
Fire came forth from before God and devoured them, and they died before God.
Then Moses said to Aaron-->
This is it that God spoke, saying, I will be sanctified in them that come near me,
and before all the people I will be glorified. Aaron held his peace.
When comes to worship God, we have to do what God say or we die!
This is the way God wants us to glorify him and that he is holy!
B. Jesus explain this in the New Testament!
1. Mark 7:5-9
Pharisees and the scribes ask Jesus,
why walk not thy disciples according to the tradition of the elders…?
Jesus declared:
These people honored me with their lips, but their hearts are far away from me.
In vain do they worship me, teaching the precepts of men.
You leave the commandment of God, and hold fast the tradition of men.
And you have fine way of setting aside the commands of God to observe your own tradition!
2. John 4:23-24
The hour is coming, and now is, when the true worshippers
shall worship the Father in spirit and truth:
for such doth the Father seek to be his worshippers.
God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship in spirit and in truth.
C. Jesus declare these people evil doers! (Matt.7:22-23)
Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, did we not preach by thy name,
and by thy name cast out demons, and by thy name do many mighty works?
Then will I profess unto them, I never knew you:
depart from me, you evil doers!
This may happen to those use the Bible and Jesus’ name as a mean to gain profit for themselves!
D. So please be a doer of the word of God! (James 1:22)
Be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves.
Anyone who listens to the word but does not do what it says
is like a man who looks at his face in a mirror, after looking at himself,
goes away and immediately forgets what he looks like.
But he that looked into the perfect law, the law of liberty, and continue to do what it says,
this man shall be blessed in his doing!(James 1:22-25)
Lesson I learn:
Doer of the word is double beneficial!
In the one hand he gets to honor God and in the other hand he gets the promised blessings!
We receive the benefits at the time of doing the word!
It is imperative that we be a doer of the word!
Why do we look at a mirror each day?
We want to see if dirt on our face or our hair need to be combed!
A mirror is to help us clean up our face and straight up our hair.
God’s word is to help us get rid of bad deeds and evil thoughts within us…!
If we listen to the word and do not make adjustment accordingly!
We deceive ourselves. Our faith in the Lord may become an insult to God
in front of others around us just like the Jews in John 8:31-59!
