Subject: The role of each life!
1. First man must know each man has three lives!
Where and who know, man has three lives? Do you know? Remember, where you learned this?
2. Man’s three lives are the body and the soul and the spirit. 1 Thes.5:23
What are the roles of each life?
A. Man’s spirit. Body without the spirit is dead. James 2:26
1. When the body is dead, the spirit return to God who gave it. Ecc.12:7
2. When the body is dead, it returns to dust. Ecc.12:7
3. When the body is dead, the soul has two places to go!
The saved soul goes to heaven paradise. Unsaved souls go to hell hades. Luke 16:22-23
B. The soul who sinned is the one who will die. Eze.18:20
1. The word of the Lord is able to save your souls. James 1:21
a. The word have to become implanted in human heart.
b. To receive the word planted in the heart, man has to rid all filthiness and wickedness.
2. These are the works of the body, the flesh! Gal.5:19-21
Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness,
idolatry, sorcery, enmities, strife, jealousies, wraths, factions, divisions, parties, envyings,
drunkenness, revellings, and such like; of which I forewarn you, even as I did forewarn you,
that they who practice such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.
3. These are the works of the Spirit: Gal.5:22-23
But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness,
meekness, self-control; against such there is no law.
4. To save the soul, man has to crucify the flesh with its passions and desires. Gal.5:24
C. How can man crucify the flesh with its lusts?
1. Those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires. Gal.5:24
2. Christ died for all, those live should no longer live for themselves but for him who died for them. 2Cor..5:15
3. I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I live in the body,
I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me. Gal.2:20
4. So I tell you this, and insist on it in the Lord, that you must no longer live as the Gentiles do, in the
futility of their thinking. Eph.4:17
5. But now that you have been set free from sin and have become slaves to God, the benefit you reap
leads to holiness, and the result is eternal life. Romans 6:22
6. For he that sow to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall
of the Spirit reap life everlasting. Gal.6:8
7. And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not. Gal.6:9
8. The Spirit gives life; the flesh counts for nothing. The words I have spoken to you are spirit and
they are life. John 6:63
D. This is how all human must do to save their souls!
1. This is why Jesus said to his disciples-->
Go preach the gospel to all creations.
He who believes and is baptized will be saved. He who believe not will be condemned! Mark 16:15-16
2. Believe Jesus is Lord and Christ! Acts 2:36-37
3. Repent and be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of sins and receive the gift of
the Holy Spirit. Acts 2:38
4. The Lord added you into the church of Christ. Acts 2:47, Romans 16:16
5. Be perfect as the Father in Heaven is perfect! Matt.5:48
6. Stay in the Lord and die in the Lord. How can people do this?
E. Conclusion: Thus the soul is saved! Revelation 14:13
I heard a voice from heaven say, "Write: Blessed are the dead who die in the Lord from now on."
"Yes," says the Spirit, "they will rest from their labor, for their deeds will follow them."
