Subject: What kinds of people can be deceived by a preacher not from church of Christ?
Thinking that he is a preacher of the word of God?!
What kinds of people not in a church of Christ think they are saved children of God?!
Saved children of God are in the church of Christ, family of God! Acts 2:47, 1 Tim.3:15.
Lk 8:4 While a large crowd was gathering and people were coming to Jesus from town after town,
he told this parable: Lk 8:5 "A farmer went out to sow his seed.
As he was scattering the seed, some fell along the path; it was trampled on, and the birds of the air ate it up.
Luke 8:11 "This is the meaning of the parable: The seed is the word of God.
1. How can a 102 years old, life time preacher, not discover factious= divisive = denomination!
What kind of man, not in a church of Christ but think he is a preacher of the word!?
What kinds of people think a preacher, not in the church of Christ is a preacher of the word?!
2. 1Jn 4:5-6 They are from the world and therefore speak from the viewpoint of the world, and the world
listens to them. We are from God, and whoever knows God listens to us; but whoever is not from God
does not listen to us. This is how we recognize the Spirit of truth and the spirit of falsehood.
3. Learn it from the conversations between Satan and Jesus and figure it out!
All Satan talked about are things in the world! Jesus talked about are spiritual things.
4. 1 Co 2:14 Now the natural man receives not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him; and he cannot know them, because they are spiritually judged.
1Co 2:15-16 But he that is spiritual judge all things, and he himself is judged of no man. For who hath known the mind of the Lord, that he should instruct him? But we have the mind of Christ.
John 3:31 "The one who comes from above is above all; the one who is from the earth belongs to the earth, and speaks as one from the earth. The one who comes from heaven is above all.
Titus 3:10 Warn a divisive person once, and then warn him a second time.
After that, have nothing to do with him.
Titus 3:10 A factious man after a first and second admonition refuse; divisive=factious=denomination...
Titus 3:11 You may be sure that such a man is warped and sinful; he is self-condemned.
How can people not know divisive, factious and denomination are synonym words!
Col 2:8 Take heed lest there shall be any one that make spoil of you through his philosophy and vain deceit,
after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ:
Col 2:20 If ye died with Christ from the rudiments of the world, why, as though living in the world,
do ye subject yourselves to ordinances.
2 Cor 11:14 And no wonder, for Satan himself masquerades as an angel of light.
Satan may pretend to be an angel of light in the church!
But this 102 old life time preacher is not even in the church of Christ!
What kind of people can he deceive!? Blind, mindless, stupid, retarded...!
Ac 20:28 Keep watch over yourselves and all the flock of which the Holy Spirit has made you overseers.
Be shepherds of the church of God, which he bought with his own blood.
I know that after I leave, savage wolves will come in among you and will not spare the flock.
Even from your own number men will arise and distort the truth in order to draw away disciples after them. Acts 20:29-30
Deceivers, imposters… may be people in the church!
But they are not in the church! Then, what kind of people can they deceive!
Ac 2:47 Praising God, and having favor with all the people.
And the Lord added to the church daily such as should be saved.
Acts 15:35-36 But Paul and Barnabas remained in Antioch, where they and many others taught and preached the word of the Lord.
Some time later Paul said to Barnabas,
"Let us go back and visit the brothers in all the towns where we preached the word of the Lord and see how they are doing."
Mt 16:18 And I tell you that you are Peter, and on this rock I will build my church, and the gates of Hades will not overcome it.
Ro 16:16 Greet one another with a holy kiss. All the churches of Christ salute you.
