Preface: What does implanted mean? It means become part of your life!
A. When God’s word is implanted, immorality eliminated!
1. We all know, when immorality is eliminated, much trouble and sickness disappeared!
2. Do not look at a woman to lust after her should be enough! Matt.5:27-28
Jesus said: Ten Commandments #7 says, do not commit adultery. But I tell you that anyone who
looks at a woman to lust after her has already committed adultery with her in his heart.
3. How about add this one! 1Cor.6:18-20
Flee from sexual immorality. All other sins a man commits are outside his body, but he who sins
sexually against his own body. Do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit
who is in you, whom you have received from God?
You are not your own; you were bought at a price. Therefore honor God with your body.
4. Add this one! 1Thes.4:2-8
For you know what instructions we gave you by the authority of the Lord Jesus. 4:2
It is God's will that you should be sanctified: that you should avoid sexual immorality. 4:3
That each of you should learn to control his own body in a way that is holy and honorable. 4:4
5. Not in passionate lust like the heathen, who do not know God; and that in this matter no one
should wrong his brother or take advantage of him. The Lord will punish men for all such sins,
as we have already told you and warned you. 4:5-6
7. For God did not call us to be impure, but to live a holy life. 4:7
8. Therefore, he who rejects this instruction does not reject man but God, who gives you his Holy Spirit.
B. Forget about excuses! Mark 14:38
1. Watch and pray so that you will not fall into temptation. The soul is willing, but the body is weak.
2. Beloved, I beseech you as sojourners and pilgrims,
to abstain from fleshly lust, which war against the soul. 1 Peter 2:11
3. For what I do is not the good I want to do; no, the evil I do not want to do—
this I keep on doing. Ro.7:19
4. Now if I do what I do not want to do, it is no longer I who do it,
but it is sin living in me that does it. Ro.7:20
5. So I find this law at work: When I want to do good, evil is right there with me. Ro.7:21
6. For in my inner being (my soul) I delight in God's law. Ro.7:22
7. But I see another law at work in the members of my body, waging war against the law of my mind
and making me a prisoner of the law of sin at work within my members. Ro.7:2
8. What a wretched man I am! Who will rescue me from this body of death? Ro.7:24
9. Thanks be to God-- through Jesus Christ our Lord! So then, I myself in my mind am a slave to God's
law, but in the flesh a slave to the law of sin. Ro.7:25
10. Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus, Ro.8:1
C. No love for money, be content with what we have! 1Tim.6:6-12
1. Godliness with contentment is great gain. 6:6
2. But if we have food and clothing, we will be content with that. 6:8
3. People who want to get rich fall into temptation and a trap and into many foolish and harmful
desires that plunge men into ruin and destruction. 6:9
4. For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil. Some people,
eager for money, have wandered from the faith and pierced themselves with many grief. 6:10
5. But you, man of God, flee from all this, and pursue righteousness, godliness, faith, love, endurance
and gentleness. 6:11
6. Fight the good fight of the faith. Take hold of the eternal life to which you were called when you
made your good confession in the presence of many witnesses. 6:12
Conclusion: 1. When God’s word is implanted, we can, do the good we want to do!
2. When God’s word is implanted, we can, not do the bad we do not want to do!
3. One who can’t do these have not really believe Jesus! Please examine yourself!
