Preface:
1. October 6, 2017 I tried to check to see how many viewed the sermon I posted on www.xilepingan.org.
2. I discovered. Many Western so called preachers and a few talk show hosts attacking one preacher
by the name Joel Osteen!
3. Joel Osteen has a church named Lake Wood Church in Houston!
His auditorium has 16,000 seats. Each week end has over 50,000 attendances!
4. Out of my human decency and sense of righteousness I have to say a few words for fairness!
A. I know Joel Osteen and these preachers and talk show hosts do not know the truth about how
the thief on the cross was saved!
1. They will all say, this thief was saved before and without water baptism!
2. Because Jesus said to him: I tell you the truth, today you will be with me in paradise! Luke 23:43
3. The most tragic part is this! It is true this thief was saved before and without baptism!
But they do not know why and how!
4. This proved all these people themselves are un-saved! John 8:31-32
They should all work hard on the salvation of their own souls! James 1:21
5. Some even quote Romans 10:9 to support their wrong theory!
Ro 10:9 That if you confess with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord," and believe in your heart that God
raised him from the dead, you will be saved.
6. The tragic is this is true also! This took them deeper into the spiritual trap set up by Satan!
7. They do not know why Apostle Paul said this in Acts 22:16!
Acts 22:16 And now what are you waiting for? Get up, be baptized and wash your sins away,
calling on his name.' (NIV)
8. They do not know why Peter said to the 3000 believers:
Ac 2:38 Peter replied, "Repent and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for
the forgiveness of your sins. And you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. (NIV)
9. Jesus said: Saved people know the truth in the Bible. John 8:31-32
These poeple do not know this vital truth! Thus proved they are un-saved!
Un-saved people came out to attack un-saved preacher!
How can I not say a few words for fairness sake!
The key to unlock the truth on why this thief on the cross was saved without baptism is Matt.9:6,
Mark 2:10, Luke 5:24.
To bad, I believe this will take them ten thousands years to figure it out!
B. I am absolutely sure Joel Osteen and all his attackers do not know the truth about the way
Cornelius family was saved!
1. They will all say Acts 10:47 proves sinners are saved before being baptized with water!
Can anyone keep these people from being baptized with water?
They have received the Holy Spirit just as we have. Acts 10:47
2. Thus all these preachers line up Romans 10:9, Luke 23:43, Acts 10:47 and dead set believe sinners
are saved before water baptism!
3. But their salvation formula is different from what Jesus said in Mark 16:16!
Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved, but whoever does not believe will be condemned.
C. Conclusion:
1. Joel Osteen and his attacker preachers do not know the truth. They are all un-saved people!
2. They should all come to the church of Christ and learn the truth quietly!
3. Of course, I know they will not do this!
4. Thus, I give them ten thousand years they will still not know the truth!
5. I pray the Lord have mercy on all these people! Open their eyes to see the truth in the Bible!
Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved, a workman who does not need to be
ashamed and who correctly handles the word of truth. 2Tim.2:15
