End of the world, day of reckoning or vindication?
1. Mt 24:30 "At that time the sign of the Son of Man will appear in the sky, and all the nations of the earth will mourn.
They will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of the sky, with power and great glory.
2. He 9:27-28 Just as man is destined to die once, and after that to face judgment, so Christ was sacrificed once to take away
the sins of many people; and he will appear a second time, not to bear sin, but to bring salvation to those who are waiting for him.
3. 1Thes 4:16-17 For the Lord himself will come down from heaven, with a loud command, with the voice of the archangel and with the
trumpet call of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first. After that, we who are still alive and are left will be caught up together
with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And so we will be with the Lord forever.
4. 2Pe 3:10 But the day of the Lord will come like a thief. The heavens will disappear with a roar;
the elements will be destroyed by fire, and the earth and everything in it will be laid bare.
5. 2Pe 3:13 But in keeping with his promise we are looking forward to a new heaven and a new earth, the home of righteousness.
6. Re 21:8 But the cowardly, the unbelieving, the vile, the murderers, the sexually immoral, those who practice magic arts,
the idolaters and all liars— their place will be in the fiery lake of burning sulfur. This is the second death.
7. Ac 2:47 Praising God, and having favour with all the people. And the Lord added to the church daily such as should be saved.
8. Gal 3:27 for all of you who were baptized into Christ have clothed yourselves with Christ.
9. Col 1:18 And he is the head of the body, the church; he is the beginning and the firstborn from among the dead,
so that in everything he might have the supremacy.
10. Col 3:3 For you died, and your life is now hidden with Christ in God.
11. Matt.5:48 Be perfect as the heavenly Father is perfect.
