Who against whom in religions?
Preface: In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. Genesis 1:1
And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the
breath of life; and man became a living soul. Genesis 2:7
A. The origin of human worship to God!
1. Adam knew Eve his wife; and she conceived, and bare Cain…Gen.4:1
2. And she again bare his brother Abel. Gen.4:2
And Abel was a keeper of sheep, but Cain was a tiller of the ground. Gen.4:3
3. And in process of time it came to pass, that Cain brought of the fruit of the ground an offering
to the Lord. Gen.4:3
4. And Abel, he also brought of the firstlings of his flock offered to the Lord. Gen.4:4
The Lord had respect unto Abel and to his offering. Gen.4:4
5. The point is this: Where comes all other religions?
6. These two brothers in worship to God.
Has to be taught by God and follow their parents in worship to God!
7. All other religions in worship to God, can only be started by human!
B. Where comes all other religions?
1. If all generation follow God’s teaching and their parents’ example in worship to God!
2. We would still be worshiping the same God in the same way!
3. Someone along the human line rebelled against God and his parents!
4. Parents failed to wipe out all rebels from the face of the earth alone the way!
If they did, we would still be worshiping the same God the same way!
5. The rebels begin to their line of worship to God! This is literally how all other religions started!
6. The rebel’s children rebel their parents and form their way of worship!
7. Along the straight line some others may follow the rebel’s example and form theirs!
C. It is the exact exam logic in the line of the church of Christ!
1. Jesus said I am the Christ. I will build my church! Matt.16:13-18
2. There were churches of Christ in Judea! Gal.1:22
a. Church of Christ Sunday worship to God in reading and preaching God's words. Acts 2:42.
b. Church of Christ Sunday worship to God in taking the Lord's supper. Acts 2:42
c. Church of Christ Sunday worship to God offer sacrifice of contribution. 1Cor.16:2, Phil.4:15-19.
d. Church of Christ Sunday worship to God offer sacrifice of prayers. Acts 2:42
e. Church of Christ Sunday worship to God offer singing of praises with fruit of the lips. Heb.13:15
3. We are back to the straight line started by Jesus!
4. Where we come from?
From believe in no God, from rebellious religions, from straight line departure churches.
There is this saying: It right to rebel!
5. Religions rebelled against God and their parents. We rebel against all rebels!
6. Are you ready to rebel against the devil, Satan? I have been one for more than 50 years!
D. End of the world, thank God! Who rebel against whom?
1. 1500 years ago, Roman Catholic church rebelled against the church of Christ.
2. 500 some years ago, Protestant Christianity rebelled against Roman Catholic church.
3. Many people rebelled against both of the above and become no God believers!
4. We come back to the straight line started by Jesus Christ!
We worship the same way as it was 2000 years ago!
Thank God, there is end of the world. We wait for Jesus to come straight up everything for us!
