Not believe in church of Christ?

Friday Bible Study. December 15, 2017.

 Subject: Do not believe Jesus in the church of Christ, what will happen to you?

1. You may be one of these: Romans 1:18-22à

    For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness.

    Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath showed it unto them. For the invisible things of him from the creation

    of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse:

    Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart

    was darkened.  Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools.

2. You may commit one of these: Rev.21:8à

    But the cowardly, the unbelieving, the vile, the murderers, the sexually immoral, those who practice magic arts, the idolaters and all liars—

    their place will be in the fiery lake of burning sulfur. This is the second death.

3. You may be one of these: Titus 3:10-11à

    Warn a divisive person once, and then warn him a 2nd time.  After that, have nothing to do with him.

    You may be sure that such a man is warped and sinful; he is self-condemned.

4. You may be one of these: 2 John 1:9-11à Anyone who runs ahead and does not continue in the teaching of Christ does not have God;

    whoever continues in the teaching has both the Father and the Son. If anyone comes to you and does not bring this teaching, do not take him into

    your house or welcome him. Anyone who welcomes him shares in his wicked work.

5. You may be one of these: Acts 17:22-23

    Then Paul stood in the midst of Mars' hill, and said: Ye men of Athens, I perceive that in all things ye are too superstitious.

    For as I passed by, and beheld your devotions, I found an altar with this  inscription, TO THE UNKNOWN GOD.

    Whom therefore ye ignorantly worship, him declare I unto you.

6. You may be one of these: Col.2:1-8à I want you to know how much I am struggling for you and for those at Laodicea, and for all who have not

    met me personally. My purpose is that they may be encouraged in heart and united in love, so that they may have the full riches of complete understanding,

    in order that they may know the mystery of God, namely, Christ, in whom are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge.

    I tell you this so that no one may deceive you by fine-sounding arguments.

    For though I am absent from you in body, I am present with you in spirit and delight to see how orderly you are and how firm your faith in Christ is.

    So then, just as you received Christ Jesus as Lord, continue to live in him, rooted and built up in him, strengthened in the faith as you were  taught,

    and overflowing with thankfulness.  See to it that no one takes you captive through hollow and deceptive philosophy, which depends on human tradition

    and the basic principles of this world rather than on Christ.

7. You may be one of these: Eph.4:11-14à It was he who gave some to be apostles, some to be prophets, some to be evangelists, and some to be pastors

    and teachers, to prepare God's people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up until we all reach unity in the faith and in the

    knowledge of the Son of God and become mature, attaining to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ. Then we will no longer be infants, tossed

    back and forth by the waves, and blown here and there by every wind of teaching and by the cunning and craftiness of men in their deceitful scheming.

8. You may be one of these: 2Tim.2:22-26à

    Flee the evil desires of youth, and pursue righteousness, faith, love and peace, along with those who call on the Lord out of a pure heart.

    Don't have anything to do with foolish and stupid arguments, because you know they produce quarrels. And the Lord's servant must not quarrel;

    instead, he must be kind to everyone, able to teach, not resentful. Those who oppose him he must gently instruct, in the hope that God will grant them

    repentance leading them to a knowledge of the truth, and that they will come to their senses and escape from the trap of the devil, who has taken them

    captive to do his will.
