The NIV Bible will take people safely to hell!
A. Their statement of faith to the world.
1. Admit to God that you are captive to sin and have not followed his path for right living.
2. Believe that the Creator of the world loves you and sent his Son Jesus to take the penalty for your sin.
3. Confess 'Jesus is Lord'. Believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead.
Then you will be saved. Romans 10:9
Mr. Chan’s comments:
1. This is trying to fit a horse mouth on the head of a cow!
2. Romans 10:9 addressed to baptized saints inside the church of Christ in Rome! Ro.1:7
3. The purpose of writing the book of Romans was to defend the decision in Acts 15:1-29.
4. To people in the world should quote Mark 16:15-16 and Acts 2:36-38!
B. Their claims in translating the NIV Bible:
1. The core translation group consisted of 15 Biblical scholars using Hebrew, Aramaic, and Greek texts
whose goal was to produce a more modern English language text than the KJV.
2. The translation took 10 years and involved a team of over 100 scholars from the United States,
Canada, the United Kingdom, Australia, New Zealand, and South Africa.
3. The range of those participating included many different denomination such as Anglicans, Assemblies
of God, Baptist, Christian Reformed, Lutheran and Presbyterian.
Mr. Chan’s comments:
1. 10 years involved a team of over 100 scholars failed to discover the purpose of the book of Romans?
How can this be possible? 2Thes.2:9-12
2. Words they translated in Romans 1:7, did not dawn to any of them in ten years?
3. Words they translated in Mark 16:15-16, did not dawn to any of them in 10 years?
4. Words they translated in Titus 3:10-11 did not dawn to any of them in 10 years?
5. How can 100 scholars in 10 years not discover denomination is warped, sinful and self-condemned?
6. What kind of people would God keep them from knowing the truth for so long?
7. God declared: He wants all to be saved and come to the knowledge of the truth! 1 Tim.2:4
8. What kind of people would God make them to translate scriptures to condemn themselves?
9. Why does God let them be so successful in this world? They have 400 millions NIV Bible in prints!
How many Bible Mr. Chan has in print? None!
C. Their wrong translation contents.
1. Gen.2:7--> the Lord God formed the man from the dust of the ground and breathed into his nostrils
the breath of life, and the man became a living being.
*** Should be translated as the man became a living soul!
2. Pro.2:7--> God holds success in store for the righteous, he is a shield to those whose walk is blameless.
*** Should be translated as God lays sound wisdom in store for the righteous doing people!
3. John 3:15 that everyone who believes in him may have eternal life.
*** Should be translated as that everyone who believes may in him have eternal life!
4. Original Greek text having believed in John 8:31, they changed into had believed!
***Anyone knows what will happen to people who change meaning of God’s word?
D. Their deadly study guide for Acts 16:31!
1. Their translated message: Acts 16:31
They replied: Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved-- you and your household.
2. Their study guide: ‘Believe in the Lord Jesus’ is a concise statement of the way of salvation. See 10:43
E. Conclusion: Picture this in your head.
1. One side stand over 100 Bible scholars vigorously work 10 years in study and translated the Bible!
2. The other side stands one humble Mr. Chan from a small Chinese church of Christ!
3. Which side do you think people will choose to follow?
4. Yes, not even Satan itself can deny what I said are all conclusive concise Biblical truth!
