Not understand what says in the Bible.
How can believe Jesus according to the Bible?
A. 15 Core Bible scholars and over 100 Bible scholars worked 10 years came up this salvation plan:
1. Statement for salvation: That if you confess with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord,"
and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. Romans 10:9
2. Not know Ro.10:4 say Christ is the end of the law so that there may be righteousness for everyone who believes.
3. Not know Ro.1:7 say the Book of Romans is to the saints in the church of Christ.
4. Not know ‘believe Jesus’ and ‘baptized into the name of the Lord Jesus’ is same! Ac.19:4-5
a. Paul said to the people to believe in Jesus, the one coming after John. Acts 19:4
b. On hearing this, they were baptized into the name of the Lord Jesus. Acts 19:5
c. Baptized into the name of the Lord Jesus is the respond to believe in Jesus!
5. Not know the above scriptures how can believe Jesus according to the Bible?
B. Their concise statement of the way of salvation: Acts 16:31
1. They replied: Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved-- you and your household.
2. This is taking the scripture out of its context!
To know the truth they have to read up to Acts 16:33!
3. Then they spoke the word of the Lord to him and to all the others in his house. Acts 16:32
4. At that hour of the night the jailer took them and washed their wounds.
Then immediately he and all his family were baptized. Acts 16:33
5. Read up to verse 33 will match what Jesus and Apostle Peter taught! Mk.16:15-16, Ac.2:36-38
Believe and be baptized will be saved. Mark 16:16
Repent and be baptized for forgiveness of sins. Acts 2:38
C. Bible salvation statement is Mark 16:15-16
1. He said to them: Go into the world and preach the gospel to all creation. Mark 16:15
2. Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved, but whoever does not believe will be condemned.
3. This is like class-room instructions in school.
D. Bible concise statement of the way of salvation is Acts 2:36-38.
1. This is put into practice on the field! --> Therefore let all Israel be assured of this:
God has made this Jesus whom you crucified, both Lord and Christ. Acts 2:36
2. When the people heard this, they were cut to the heart and said to Peter and the other apostles:
Brothers, what shall we do? Acts 2:37
3. Apostle Peter did not say: Congratulation, you are saved!
4. Peter replied: Repent and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ
for the forgiveness of your sins. And you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. Acts 2:38
5. This gift of the Holy Spirit received at the time of being baptized is essential for salvation!
E. Only people born of God with spirit and Holy Spirit can know the truth in the Bible!
1. Yet to all who received him, to those who believed in his name.
He gave the right to become children of God— John 1:12
children born not of natural descent, nor of human decision or a husband's will, but born of God. John 1:13
2. Jesus answered: I tell you the truth, no one can enter the kingdom of God unless he is born of water and the Spirit. John 2:5
Flesh gives birth to flesh, but the Spirit gives birth to spirit. John 3:6
3. Peter replied: Repent and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins.
And you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. Acts 2:38
4. The Spirit himself testifies with our spirit that we are God's children. Ro.8:16
5. As the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without deeds is dead. James 2:26
6. Apostle Paul declared: 1Cor.2:12-13
We have not received the spirit of the world but the Spirit who is from God, that we may understand what God has freely given us.
This is what we speak, not in words taught us by human wisdom but in words taught by the Spirit,
expressing spiritual truths in spiritual words.
F. Conclusion: Besides the church of Christ, no where you can know these Bible truth!
1. One who knows these truth are in the church of Christ!
2. This is saying not in church of Christ, no one can believe Jesus according to the Bible!
3. Not in church of Christ and say believe Jesus according to the Bible is lying, child of Satan!
