Apply man’s logic on things about God!
A. Highly educated believers fell into error! Acts 17:22-29
1. This made educated people worship an unknown god!
2. This error caused wrong practice in the church in Corinth!
There were four denominations in that church-->
They said we are church of Peter, church of Paul, church of Apollo and church of Christ!
3. In human philosophy it was this way! Man belongs to his kind of philosophy!
For each philosopher has his own kind of philosophy.
4. In things about God there is only one kind of philosophy! Eph.4:4
All teachers must teach the one God’s word in the Bible! Acts 16:32
5. All believers baptized into the name Jesus Christ for remission of sins…! Ac.2:38
6. Paul said denomination is warped, sinful and self-condemned! Titus 3:10-11!
7. Why do billion Jesus believers dead set belong to denomination churches?
B. The NIV Bible is the best example in our generation!
1. This translation took 10 years and involved a team of over 100 scholars from the United States,
Canada, the United Kingdom, Australia, New Zealand, and South Africa.
2. The range of those participating included many different denominations such as Anglicans,
Assemblies of God, Baptist, Christian Reformed, Lutheran and Presbyterian.
3. Their translation on Romans 1:20-21 fit to describe these over 100 scholars!
For since the creation of the world God's invisible qualities à his eternal power and divine
nature-- have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that men are
without excuse. For although they knew God, they neither glorified him as God nor gave thanks
to him, but their thinking became futile and their foolish hearts were darkened.
4. Their minds were futile and darkened!
a. They did not discover Titus 3:10 should be translated as--> Warn a denomination person once,
and then warn him a second time. After that, have nothing to do with him.
You may be sure that a denomination man is warped, sinful and self-condemned! Titus 3:11
b. They said those over 100 Scholars were members of denomination churches!
c. Not knowing by saying they were denomination members condemned them into hell!
5. The goal was to produce a more modern English language text than the King James Version.
This is a human logical thinking!
6. In human thinking: This is an easy and smart way!
Since KJV was produced by order of a King, it must be good!
Therefore, all they need is a more modern English language text than the K.J.V.
7. My goal has always been seeking the original meaning of the text!
The one meaning in the mind of the writer at the time of his writing!
8. The result is before you! I found the truth. They did not!
C. Apostle Paul put it this way! 1Cor.2:1-16
1. We speak God’s secret wisdom. 1Cor.2:7
2. This wisdom has revealed to us by his Spirit. 1Cor.2:10
3. No one knows the thoughts of God except the Spirit of God. 1Cor.2:11
4. This is what we speak, not in words taught us by human wisdom but in words taught by
the Spirit, expressing spiritual truths in spiritual words. 1Cor.2:13
5. For who has known the mind of the Lord that he may instruct him?
But we have the mind of Christ. 1Cor.2:16
D. Conclusion: Let the mind of Christ explain the things of God! Mk.12:28-32
1. Among all the commandments which is the greatest?
2. The mind of Christ said: The Lord our God is one besides him there is no other!
3. All these gods make man’s thinking futile and darkened!
4. Come to Jesus and be lightened!
