Why hearts darkened and fall into error? 6
Too much one sided injustice being practiced!
A. Who care what we care?
1. Brothers, my heart's desire and prayers to God for the Israelites is that they may be saved. Ro.10:1
2. For I can testify about them that they are zealous for God.
But their zeal is not based on knowledge. Ro.10:2
3. Since they did not know the righteousness that comes from God and sought to establish their own.
They did not submit to God's righteousness. Ro.10:3
4. Yes, we care! But what our family clans and friends do in return?
5. They are dead set in doing the opposites of what we care!
6. We prayed, we continue to help them and they continue to ask for our help!
7. Where and when is the end? Until they or we died?
8. We are in the church 1, 2, 10, 20, or more years! They are dead set not to follow Jesus with us!
B. There is one church! Eph.4:4-6
1. They and we both know this is what Bible says!
2. Church is the body of Christ! Christ is the head! Col.1:18
3. The name of the church goes with the head--> church of Christ.
4. In relation to Christ, the church is wife of Christ! Eph.5:31-32
5. In the two become one flesh relation the wife is to be called Mrs. the name of the husband!
6. Any other term refer to this married woman is adultery!
7. Denomination is warped, sinful and self-condemned! Titus 3:10-11
Family members and ‘friends’ continue to participate with church that is not church of Christ!
8. We have to sit and watch them go to hell! How aggravated can this be!!!
C. Yes, God is love! 1Jn.4:7-8
1. Beloved, let us love one another; for love is of God. 1Jn.4:7
2. Everyone that love is born of God and know God. 1Jn.4:7
3. He that love not know not God. For God is love! 1Jn.4:8
D. Consider the context with ‘for love is of’ and ‘for God is love’!
1. Clearly, the beloved are members of the church!
2. Let church members love one another! For love is of God.
3. He that love not church members know not God. For God is love!
4. Test yourself with love for your family members and ‘friends’!
5. They did so much that hurt your feelings in a long time!
6. What did you do? Continue to walk with them and help them support them!
7. A church member did a thing that hurt your feeling! What did you do?
8. You no longer want to associate with this church member!
Do not even want to participate in lunch fellowship with him! Do you realize this is injustice?!
E. Conclusion: What do we do with these Bible instructions!?
1. Bear for each other and forgive whatever grievances you may have against one another! Col.3:13
2. Forgive as the Lord forgave you. Col.3:13
3. Jesus said: Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they are doing. Lk.23:34
4. If you forgive men when they sin against you, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. Mt.6:14
5. But if you do not forgive men their sins, your Father will not forgive your sins. Matt.6:15
6. A new command I give you:
Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. Jn.13:34
7. By this all men will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another. Jn.13:35
8. Now that you have purified yourselves by obeying the truth so that you have sincere love for
your brothers, love one another deeply, from the heart. 1Peter 1:22
9. No one has ever seen God; but if we love one another,
God lives in us and his love is made complete in us. 1Jn.4:12
