God saves those want to be saved!
A. Yes, God so love the world!
1. Everyone who believes in Jesus may have eternal life! Jn.3:15
2. For God so love the world that he gave his only Son.
Whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life! Jn.3:16
3. God wants all men to be saved and to come to knowledge of the truth. 1 Tim.2:4
B. God has made a new and living way for all to eternal life! Heb.10:16-39
1. The Lord says: This is the covenant I will make with them after that time. Heb.10:16
2. I will put my laws in their hearts and I will write them on their minds! Heb.10:16
3. Their sins and lawless acts I will not remember! Heb.10:17
4. Here is man’s deadly mistake! All like to enjoy item 3 but not willing to do item 1 and 2!
5. It is by a new and living way opened for us through the curtain, that is his body!
6. Who care what is his body mean? It is the church! The church of Christ! Col.1:18
C. There is 1 therefore and 5 let us…! Heb.10:19-25
1. Therefore, brothers, since we have confidence to enter the Most Holy Place by the blood of Jesus.
2. Let us draw near to God with a sincere heart in full assurance of faith…. Heb.10:22
3. Let us hold unswervingly to the hope we profess, for he who promised is faithful. Heb.10:23
4. Let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds. Heb.10:24
5. Let us not stop our own meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing. Heb.10:25
6. Let us encourage one another-- and all the more as you see the Day approaching. Heb.10:25
D. There are serious warnings! Heb.10:26-29
1. If we deliberately keep on sinning after we have received the knowledge of the truth,
no sacrifice for sins is left, but only a fearful expectation of judgment and of raging fire that
will consume the enemies of God. Heb.10:26-27
2. God takes salvation of the soul a personal matter! Heb.10:28-29
3. Anyone who rejected the law of Moses died without mercy on the testimony of 2 or 3 witnesses.
4. How much more severely do you think a man deserves to be punished … Heb.10:29
5. God said: It is mine to avenge. I will repay! Heb.10:30
6. It is a dreadful thing to fall into the hands of the living God! Heb.10:31
E. Forever example to follow!
1. Save yourself from this corrupt generation! Acts 2:37-42
2. Believe, repent and be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of sins
and receive the gift of the Holy Spirit! Acts 2:37-38
3. Devote yourselves in the Apostles’ teaching to prayers and to take the Lord’s supper on Sunday
in a church of Christ in your area!
4. Never stop Sunday worship in the church of Christ to take the Lord’s supper! Heb.10:25
5. Diligently study the Scriptures because you think that by them you possess eternal life.
These are the Scriptures that testify about me. Jn.5:39
6. Diligently study the Scriptures to know what you hear is in the Bible! Acts 17:11
F. Must stay away from all these!
1. Be careful not to have any part with teaching that is not recorded in the Bible!
So you will not share their wicked works! 2Jn.1:9-11
2. Never take part in any denomination activities! Titus 3:10-11
Denomination is warped, sinful and self-condemned!
3. Beware of false prophets. They come to you in sheep's clothing,
but inwardly they are ferocious wolves. Matt.7:15
4. By their fruit you will recognize them. … Matt.7:16
Their fruit is not their daily good deeds! Remember, they came to you in sheep’s clothing!
Their fruit is the church they build with their teaching! Is the name of the church in the Bible?
5. It is you who have to come out from them and separate and touch no unclean thing! 2Cor.6:17
6. It is to you God said: I will be a Father to you, and you will be my sons and daughters.2Cor.6:18
G. Conclusion: It takes you to finish the salvation of your own soul!
