Human stuck rebellious act to God's face!
This is reality when comes to religion or believing Jesus!
A. Main Scriptures for this study: Mark 7:7-13
1. Jesus said: They worship me in vain. Their teachings are but rules taught by men. Mk.7:7
2. You have let go of the commands of God and are holding on to the traditions of men. Mk.7:8
3. And he said to them: You have a fine way of setting aside the commands of God
in order to observe your own traditions! Mk.7:9
4. For example: Moses said: Mk.7:10
Honor your father and mother and anyone curses his father or mother must be put to death.
5. But you say: If a man says to his father or mother. Whatever helps you might otherwise have
received from me is Corban' (that is, a gift devoted to God). Mk.7:11
Then you no longer let him do anything for his father or mother. Mk.7:12
6. Thus you nullify the word of God by your tradition that you have handed down.
And you do many things like that. Mk.7:13
B. The first and most important commandment!
1. You shall not have other gods before me! Ex.20:3, Mk.12:28-32
2. Look around the world, everyday people create other gods!
3. There is one gospel! Anyone teaches a different gospel will be condemned! Gal.1:8
People create many different gospels every day!
4. There is one church. Christ is husband, church as his wife. Eph.4:4
People create different kinds of churches every day!
5. Denomination is warped, sinful and self-condemned! Titus 3:10-11
People proudly announce we are so and so denomination!
6. Use fruit of the lips to sing praise to God! Heb.13:15
People praise God mixed with all kinds of music instruments!
7. Let you yes be yes and your no be no, anything beyond is from the devil! Matt.5:37
Look around the world! Who practice this command!
C. People stuck to Jesus’ face with these! Matt.7:22-23
1. Many will say to me on that day: Lord, Lord, did we not preach in thy name,
and in thy name drive out demons and perform many miracles?
2. Then I will tell them plainly: I never knew you. Away from me, you evildoers!
D. They openly stuck these to Apostle Paul’s face!
1. Let there be no denomination among you! 1 Cor.1:10
They create denomination churches every day!
2. Warn a denomination man once and warn him a 2nd time.
After that have nothing to do with him. People proudly join denomination church!
5. Denomination is warped, sinful and self-condemned! Titus 3:10-11
They create denomination churches every day! People go join them!
E. We must do these! 2Tim.4:2-5
1. Preach the Word; be prepared in season and out of season; correct, rebuke and encourage—
with great patience and careful instruction. 2Tim.4:2
2. For the time will come when men will not put up with sound doctrine.
Instead, to suit their own desires, they will gather around them a great number of teachers
to say what their itching ears want to hear. 2Tim.4:3
3. They will turn their ears away from the truth and turn aside to myths. 2Tim.4:4
4. But you, keep your head in all situations, endure hardship, do the work of an evangelist,
discharge all the duties of your ministry. 2Tim.4:5
5. We have no other choice because these charges are charged in the presence of God and of
Christ Jesus who will judge the living and the dead! 2Tim.4:1
6. Must remember Jesus promised: Behold, I am coming soon!
My reward is with me, and I will give to everyone according to what he has done. Rev.22:12
