Subject: One arrow three birds all dead!
Both hears and the preacher all dead in hell!
A. Two patients with different sickness and the doctor all three dead!
1. The doctor dead according to Gal.1:8
2. Both patients dead because wrong medicine!
3. Preaching is supposed to save both the preacher and his hearers! 1Tim.4:16
B. Right preacher with one wrong message!
1. Ac 19:4 Paul said, "John's baptism was a baptism of repentance.
He told the people to believe in the one coming after him, that is, in Jesus."
Ac 19:5 On hearing this, they were baptized into the name of the Lord Jesus.
These were lucky ones! Paul was there to help!
2. The most important element is these people believed Jesus with genuine faith!
3. Great preacher can be wrong too!
Ac 18:24 Meanwhile a Jew named Apollos, a native of Alexandria, came to Ephesus.
He was a learned man, with a thorough knowledge of the Scriptures.
Ac 18:25 He had been instructed in the way of the Lord, and he spoke with great fervor and
taught about Jesus accurately, though he knew only the baptism of John.
C. Good medicine for wrong patients all dead!
This is a triple dead not both dead!
1. Recently a well known church in Guang Zhou shut down!
2. This was a worldly known Chinese church in China!
This is one thing I do not understand why God let this happened!
D. Their number one good medicine for wrong patient is Acts 5:29!
1. Ac 5:27 Having brought the apostles, they made them appear before the Sanhedrin to be
questioned by the high priest.
2. Ac 5:28-29 "We gave you strict orders not to teach in this name," he said. "
Yet you have filled Jerusalem with your teaching and are determined to make us guilty of this
man's blood." Peter and the other apostles replied: We must obey God rather than men!
3. Apostle Peter wrote: 1 Peter 2:13
Submit yourselves for the Lord's sake to every ordinance instituted among men: …
E. The case of Paul’s self-defense! Ac.25:15-20
1. Ac 25:15 When I went to Jerusalem, the chief priests and elders of the Jews brought charges
against him and asked that he be condemned.
2. Ac 25:16 "I told them that it is not the Roman custom to hand over any man before he has faced
his accusers and has had an opportunity to defend himself against their charges.
3. Ac 25:17 When they came here with me, I did not delay the case, but convened the court the next
day and ordered the man to be brought in.
4. Ac 25:18-19 When his accusers got up to speak, they did not charge him with any of the crimes
I had expected. Instead, they had some points of dispute with him about their own religion and
about a dead man named Jesus who Paul claimed was alive.
5. Ac 25:20 I was at a loss how to investigate such matters; so I asked if he would be willing to go
to Jerusalem and stand trial there on these charges.
F. Apostle Paul’s personal salvation witness! Acts 22:12-16
1. Quote what Paul said in Acts 16:30-31 against his own testimony! (Acts 16:30-33)
2. Quote what Paul wrote against his own testimony! Ro.10:13 (Ro.10:13-17)
3. Quote what Paul wrote against his own testimony! Eph.2:8-9
Read Eph.1:1 and Eph.2:8-16!
Conclusion: There is this 1500 years problem!
Who is willing to take the time and spent their lives to study!
