Stop ghost sowing weeds!

Stop ghost sowing weeds!

A. Is the name of your church in the Bible?

1. How did I come up this simple question?

2. I discovered the name of the church is the fruit of their preaching!

3. This is to catch thief with plunder in their hands!

4. The name of their church is their most valuable plunder in hand!

They will try with all their might to hold on to!

I have much time to catch them!  Because I know they will keep holding on this plunder!

5. Jesus taught us to catch thieves with plunder in their hands! Matt.7:15-16

Watch out for false prophets. They come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ferocious wolves.

By their fruit you will recognize them. Do people pick grapes from thorn bushes, or figs from thistles?

6. I also discovered what Jesus said in Matt.13:1-30!

B. Ghost preaching produced weeds, non-church of Christ!

1. Once weed seeds sprouted and formed heads they will last until end time!

2. Jesus said: The kingdom of heaven is like a man who sowed good seed in his field. Matt.13:24

3. While everyone was sleeping, his enemy came and sowed weeds among the wheat, and went away. Matt.13:25

4. When the wheat sprouted and formed heads, then the weeds also appeared. Matt.13:26

5. The owner's servants came to him and said:

Sir, didn't you sow good seed in your field? Where then did the weeds come from?' Matt.13:27

6. He replied: An enemy did this.

The servants asked: Do you want us to go and pull them up?' Matt.13:28

7. He answered: No, because while you are pulling the weeds, you may root up the wheat with them. Matt.13:29

8. Let both grow together until the harvest. At that time I will tell the harvesters: First collect the weeds and

tie them in bundles to be burned; then gather the wheat and bring it into my barn.' Matt.13:30

C. Ghost may tell you words in the New Testament are for years passed!  Now we have ….

1. But we know Jesus said:

Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will never pass away. Matt.24:35, Mk.13:31, Lk.21:33

2. We all know what kinds of people say New Testament Bible teachings are for years passed?

Ghost, non-church of Christ said this!

3. Beloved, while I was giving all diligence to write unto you of our common salvation, I was constrained to write

to you exhorting you to contend earnestly for the faith which was once for all delivered unto the saints.Jude 1:3

4. His divine power has given us everything we need for life and godliness through our knowledge of him who

called us by his own glory and goodness. 2Peter 1:3

5. Then Jesus came to them and said: All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me.

Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and

of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you.

And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.""

D. How do we know non-church of Christ people are ghost?

1. Ask them one by one: Is the name of your church in the Bible?

2. Many will say, church name is not important!

3. Jesus said in Matt.5:37 reveal these people are ghost!

4. Many may say, our church is church of Christ too!

5. If they said is truth!  Why displace other name?

Intended to deceive!?  Trying to fool people?  … A Plain open dishonesty!

6. Therefore all their preaching is ghost sowing weed!

E. Think about why did Jesus followed how to identify false prophets with this illustration!  Matt.7:20-23

1. Thus, by their fruit you will recognize them. Matt.7:20

2. Not everyone who says to me, `Lord, Lord,' will enter the kingdom of heaven,

but only he who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. Matt.7:21

3. Many will say to me on that day, `Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and in your name

drive out demons and perform many miracles?' Matt.7:22

4. Then I will tell them plainly, `I never knew you. Away from me, you evildoers!' Matt.7:23

F. Conclusion: The Lord’s faithful servants must do these

1. 2Tim.4:1-5

2. Titus 1:5-11
