Main Scripture for this study: 2 Peter 3:16
As also in all Paul’s epistles, speaking in them of these things;
in which are some things hard to be understood, which they that are unlearned and unstable wrest,
as they do also the other scriptures, unto their own destruction.
A. Jesus declared the way of saving souls!
1. He said to them: Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation. Mk.16:15
2. He who believes and is baptized will be saved, but he who does not believe will be condemned. Mk.16:16
B. Apostle Peter showed us the way! Acts 2:37-38
1. When the people heard this, they were cut to the heart and said to Peter and the other apostles:
Brothers, what shall we do? Acts 2:37
2. Peter replied: Repent and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness
of your sins. And you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. Acts 2:38
C. Apostle Paul showed us the same way! Acts 16:30-33
1. The Philippian jailer asked: Sirs, what must I do to be saved? Ac.16:30
2. They replied: Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved-- you and your household. Ac.16:31
3. Then they spoke the word of the Lord to him and to all the others in his family. Ac.16:32
4. At that hour of the night the jailer took them and washed their wounds;
then immediately he and all his family were baptized. Ac.16:33
D. Apostle Paul told his own salvation process! Ac.9:18, 22:16
1. He got up and was baptized! Acts 9:18
2. And now what are you waiting for?
Get up, be baptized and wash your sins away, calling on his name. Ac.22:16
*** The key point is water baptism for forgiveness of sins!
Apostle Paul said: Anyone, even an angel from God preaches different message be in hell! Gal.1:8
E. Roman Catholic and Christianity twist scriptures to their own destruction!
1. They use John 3:16, Ro.10:9-10 and Eph.2:8-9 saying:
Souls are saved by accepting Jesus as Lord before and without water baptism!
2. The above is different from what Jesus, Peter and Paul preached!
3. According to what Paul said in Gal.1:8 they will be in hell!
F. They preach these scriptures against government authority to their own destruction!
1. Peter and John replied:
Judge for yourselves whether it is right in God's sight to obey you rather than God. Ac.4:19
2. Peter and the other apostles replied: We must obey God rather than men! Ac.5:29
3. By preaching these they caused billion of souls in history go to hell!
G. They should have kept preaching these messages!
1. Submit yourselves for the Lord's sake to every authority instituted among men:
whether to the king, as the supreme authority. 1Pe.2:13
2. Everyone must submit himself to the governing authorities.
There is no authority except that which God has established.
The authorities that exist have been established by God. Ro.13:1
Consequently, he who rebels against the authority is rebelling against what God has instituted,
and those who do so will bring judgment on themselves. Ro.13:2
3. I urge: First of all, that requests, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for everyone-- for kings
and all those in authority, that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness.1Tim.2:1-2
4. For the church of Christ is not a matter of eating and drinking,
but of righteousness and peace and joy in the Holy Spirit. Ro.14:17
H. Conclusion:
If Jesus’ gospel message is correctly preached, China and all nations will embrace Jesus as Lord!
All war eliminated! Peace on earth is a reality!
