Have salt in yourselves, and be at peace one with another.
Scripture for this study: Mark 9:50
1. Mk.9:43-49
This is to show how much determination it takes to have a clean and healthy life!
We know Jesus did not mean literally cut off one’s own hand, foot or… just as to describe someone’s
mistake we say, you are mistaken by 10,000 miles. We did not mean literally 10,000 miles.
Just to make a point! That why I say, this meansà
At all cost to have a clean and healthy living! Mk.9:43-49
2. A bowl of salt in the spring of Jericho. 2 King 2:19-22
This is a story about the spring in the city of Jericho.
The spring was sick and bad.
It made people sick and died and also made the land unproductive!
Elisha poured a bowl of salt into the spring and it was healed.
From then on, the spring was clean and healthy.
This is to say, it take salt within the heart to keep the heart clean and healthy.
So that people can live in peace!
3. How corrupt can the human heart be?
The heart is deceitful above all things, and it is exceedingly corrupt:
who can know it? (Jer.17:9)
Mark 7:21-23 Jesus described it this way:
For from within, out of the heart of men, evil thoughts proceed, fornications, thefts,
murders, adulteries, coveting, wickedness, deceit, lasciviousness, an evil eye, railing,
pride, foolishness:
all these evil things proceed from within, and defile the man.
4. The scriptural way to have a clean and healthy heart: Acts 3:19
Repent ye therefore, and turn again, that your sins may be blotted out,
that so there may come seasons of refreshing from the presence of the Lord.

5. John 16:33
These things have I spoken unto you, that in me ye may have peace.
In the world ye have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.
6. Matt.7:12
All things therefore whatsoever ye would that men do unto you, even so do ye also unto them:
for this is the law and the prophets.
7. Do justice in peaceful time is the way!
Proverb 21:15
When justice is done, it brings joy to the righteous but terror to evildoers.
James 3:18
And the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace for them that make peace.
8. Conclusion:
Without justice, there is no peace! This is a forever truth!
Please be watchful that we all treat others with fairness!
Is there a place on our earth, that people practice justice in peaceful time!
