Man has how many reasons not to believe Jesus according to the Bible?!
1. They loved John the Baptist more than they loved Jesus!
Jesus said: I have testimony weightier than that of John! Jn.5:36
The very work that the Father has given me to finish, and which I am doing,
testifies that the Father has sent me. Jn.5:37
2. The Father who sent me has himself testified concerning me. Jn.5:37
You do not believe because you have never heard his voice nor seen his form,
nor does his word dwell in you. Jn.5:38
***Apostle John took this one very seriously!
In 1 John 5:10 he put it this way-->
Anyone who believes in the Son of God has this testimony in his heart.
Anyone who does not believe God has made him out to be a liar,
because he has not believed the testimony God has given about his Son.
(By not believe Jesus is, as he said, “I am the Son of God” they made God out to be a liar!)
3. As we can see from TV broadcast, the Jews are still diligently studying the Scriptures
because they think that by them they can possess eternal life!
But they still do not believe what Jesus said here in Jn.5:39!
Jesus said: “These are the Scriptures that testify about me.”
They still refuse to come to Jesus to have life! Jn.5:40
4. One big problem for not believe in Jesus is this! Jn.5:41-42
Jesus said: I do not accept praise from men, but I know you.
I know that you do not have the love of God in your hearts!
(And they don’t know it!)
So many think they have love of God in their hearts!
By reciting the Scriptures which make them think they have the love of God in them!
5. Here is another big problem!
Jn.5:43--> I have come in my Father's name, and you do not accept me;
but if someone else comes in his own name, you will accept him.
People all over the world are still making this same mistake!
We preach the truth in the Bible!
They go where they like to go!
6. Here are two big problems!
Jn.5:44--> How can you believe if you accept praise from one another,
yet make no effort to obtain the praise that comes from the only God.
a. They accept praise from one another.
b. They make no effort to obtain the praise that comes from the only God!
How can anyone obtain praise from the only God?
Do what the Bible says!
7. So the Jews insist that they strictly obey what Moses said!? Jn.5:45
Please hear what Jesus said! (Choose who to believe!)
"But do not think I will accuse you before the Father.
Your accuser is Moses, on whom your hopes are set.
The Jews study Moses’ writings but they disobey his writings!
Study writings of “church fathers” and you will know
all of them are accusers of all denominations!
8. May this be known to all the world! John 5:46-47
If you believed Moses, you would believe me, for he wrote about me.
Since you do not believe what he wrote, how are you going to believe what I say?"
Please do not think that you can be a part of a denomination and still please God!
Please read John 17:20-23 and Titus 3:10-11
Jesus prayed that all his believers be perfectly united!
Paul condemned denominations as warped, sinful and self condemned!
Did anyone listen to what the Bible says in the last 1500 years!?
To me it is crystal clear all who are a part of denomination do not have the love
of God in their hearts!
Do not wonder why did Jesus call those Jews having believed him children of Satan! Jn.8:31-44
Wonder no more, why did Jesus say to those who claim to preach in his name
cast out demons in his name and do many miracles in his name as evildoers! Matt. 7:21-23

Conclusion for this study:
1. 1 Pet 2:7 Now to you who believe, this stone is precious.
But to those who do not believe, "The stone the builders rejected has become the capstone".
2. 2 Thes.2:12 and so that all will be condemned who have not believed the truth
but have delighted in wickedness.
