A. When you see church of Christ you know God is praised through Jesus Christ! 1 Peter 4:11
a. If anyone speaks, he should do it as one speaking the very words of God.
b. If anyone serves, he should do it with the strength God provides.
c. So that in all things God may be praised through Jesus Christ.
1. Where ever I go when I see a church of Christ I feel at home and feel safe!
2. I also want to stop by and visit them!
3. I feel a group of my brothers and sisters are there in the town!
4. The name church of Christ tells to whom this church belong!
a. Not church of Christ people say they belong to so and so denomination!
b. They are blinded in the knowledge of the truth!
Titus 3:10-11 say denomination people are warped, sinful and self-condemned!
c. It is beyond my imagination! How can people be so mindless!
5. This name church of Christ tells who is Lord of this church!
a. Christ promised to build his church! Matt.16:13-19
b. Christ purchased this church with his own blood. Ac.20:28
c. The church is the body of Christ. Eph.1:22-23
d. Christ is the head and savior of this church! Eph.5:22-31
6. All the saved people are in this church! Acts 2:47
7. God’s intent was that now, through the church, the manifold wisdom of God should be
made known to the rulers and authorities in the heavenly realms. Eph.3:10
B. The church of Christ believes Jesus is the Christ and wills to do God’s wills!
1. The truth is reserved for people in the church of Christ. Matt.13:10-11
Otherwise what do you think we know these truths!
2. Jesus said to those Jews that had believed him: If ye abide in my word, are ye truly my disciples. Jn.8:31
And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free. Jn.8:32
3. 2000 years ago to the Jews Jesus said:
You diligently study the Scriptures because you think that by them you possess eternal life.
These are the Scriptures that testify about me, yet you refuse to come to me to have life. Jn.5:39-40
a. Those Jews were mindless to think by the truth they can have eternal life!
But refused to go to Jesus to have life!
b. Today all churches that are not churches of Christ are making the same mistake!
c. They pray and study to become “Bible experts” for years but never know these truths!
4. Jesus said these! Jn.7:17-18
If any man wills to do God’s will,
he shall know of the teaching, whether it is of God, or I speak from myself. Jn.7:17
He that speaks from himself seeks his own glory: but he that seeks the glory of him that sent him,
the same is true, and no unrighteousness is in him. Jn.7:18
***The problem is they will not to do God’s wills! They themselves may not know this!
Jesus said: If any man wills to do God’s wills, he shall know of the teaching, whether it is of God!
C. In the church of Christ Satan stays away from you!
1. Apostle Peter cautioned us! 1 Peter 5:8
Be self-controlled and alert.
Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour.
2. Satan may sneak into the church of Christ but he has to pretense to be an angel of light!
3. In the church of Christ we can grow in the knowledge of the truth! Eph.4:11-15
Members will no longer be infants, tossed back and forth by the waves, and blown here and there
by the cunning and craftiness of men in their deceitful scheming!
D. Believe Jesus not in church of Christ you commit a lots more sins!
1. Believe Jesus becomes believed Christ religion! Matt.23:15
2. Preaching word of the Lord becomes preaching Christ religion! 2Jn.1:10-11
3. Jesus commanded: Go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and
of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you.
And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age. Matt.28:19-20
4. Sometime later Paul said to Barnabas: Let us go back and visit the brothers in all the towns
where we preached the word of the Lord and see how they are doing. Ac.15:36
