A. You are the temple of God!
1. The day you believed Jesus is the Lord and Christ you were baptized for the forgiveness of sins!
You received the gift of the Holy Spirit! Ac.2:336-38
2. From then on you are the temple of God! 1Cor.3:16-17
Don't you know that you yourselves are God's temple and that God's Spirit lives in you? 1Cor.3:16
3. If anyone destroys God's temple, God will destroy him,
for God's temple is sacred, and you are that temple. 1Cor.3:17
4. Do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit! 1Cor.6:19
The Holy Spirit is in you, whom you have received from God?
5. Your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit!
Suicide kills the body! Suicide kills a temple of the Holy Spirit!
6. Suicide can be a sin against the Holy Spirit! Matt.12:31-32
And so I tell you, every sin and blasphemy will be forgiven men,
but the blasphemy against the Spirit will not be forgiven.
Anyone who speaks a word against the Son of Man will be forgiven,
but anyone who speaks against the Holy Spirit will not be forgiven, either in this age or in the age to come.
B. You are not your own!
1. Do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit, who is in you,
whom you have received from God? You are not your own. 1Cor.6:19
2. You were purchased at a price. Therefore honor God with your body. 1Cor.6:20
3. You were purchased with the blood of Christ! Ac.20:28
Keep watch over yourselves and all the flock of which the Holy Spirit has made you overseers.
Be shepherds of the church of Christ, which he bought with his own blood.
4. Commit suicide is destroying something belong to Christ!
C. You are a child of God!
1. A child of God is born of the will of God! Jn.1:12-13
But as many as received him, to them gave he the right to become children of God,
to them that believe on his name: who were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh,
nor of the will of man, but of God.
2. In order to give birth to you, God has to become man as Jesus on earth!
Shed his blood to save your soul and body from going to hell!
3. At the time of baptism our sins washed away and we received the gift of the Holy Spirit! Ac.2:38
4. The Spirit himself bears witness with our spirit, that we are children of God. Ro.8:16
5. Suicide kills a child of God, an insult to God!
Insult the Holy Spirit will die in hell!
7. For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared
with the glory which shall be revealed to us-ward. Ro.8:18
8. Remember fall in the hands of God is a horrible thing! Heb.10:31
D. You are the light of the world! Matt.5:14
1. You are the light of the world. A city on a hill cannot be hidden!
2. You are supposed to let your light shine before men! Matt.5:16
In the same way, let your light shine before men,
that they may see your good deeds and praise your Father in heaven.
3. For you were once darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Live as children of light. Eph.5:8
4. Suicide kills lights of the world.
Leave the world live in darkness! What sin can it be!
5. You are supposed to become blameless and pure, children of God without fault in
a crooked and depraved generation, in which you shine like stars in the universe! Phil.2:15
6. Suicide kill stars in the sky leaves you in darkness gnashing your teeth forever!
7. You are supposed to hold out the word of life!
As you hold out the word of life—
in order that I may boast on the day of Christ that I did not run or labor for nothing. Phil.2:16
E. Conclusion: Please always remember: Sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared
with the glory which shall be revealed to us-ward. Ro.8:18
