Attention please: Learn from me --> Follow my set examples!  I am gentle and humble in heart!

A. Example one: To those on his right! Matt.25:34-40

1. Then the King will say to those on his right: Come, you who are blessed by my Father;

    take your inheritance, the kingdom prepared for you since the creation of the world. Matt.25:34

2. For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink,

    I was a stranger and you invited me in. Matt.25:35

3. I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me,

    I was in prison and you came to visit me. Matt.25:36

4. Then the righteous will answer him:  (Think! For what the righteous were in prison!)

    Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you something to drink? Matt.25:37

5. When did we see you a stranger and invite you in, or needing clothes and clothe you? Matt.25:38

6. When did we see you sick or in prison and go to visit you? Matt.25:39

7. The King will reply:

    I tell you the truth, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers of mine, you did for me. Matt.25:40

***Yes, we say: Jesus is gentle and humble in heart!

B. Example one: To those on his left! Matt.25:41-46

1. Then he will say to those on his left:

    Depart from me, you who are cursed, into the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his angels. Matt.25:41

2. For I was hungry and you gave me nothing to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me nothing to drink. Matt.25:42

3. I was a stranger and you did not invite me in, I needed clothes and you did not clothe me,

    I was sick and in prison and you did not look after me. Matt.25:43

4. They also will answer: Lord, when did we see you hungry or thirsty or a stranger or needing clothes or sick or

    in prison, and did not help you?' Matt.25:44

5. He will reply:

    I tell you the truth, whatever you did not do for one of the least of these, you did not do for me. Matt.25:45

6. Then they will go away to eternal punishment, but the righteous to eternal life. Matt.25:46

***We still say: Jesus is gentle and humble in heart?  If you are not sure, then read Romans 1:17!

C. Example two. Jn.2:14-16

1. In the temple courts he found men selling cattle, sheep and doves,

    and others sitting at tables exchanging money. Jn.2:14

2. So he made a whip out of cords, and drove all from the temple area, both sheep and cattle;

    he scattered the coins of the money changers and overturned their tables. Jn.2:15

3. To those who sold doves he said: Get these out of here!

    How dare you turn my Father's house into a market! Jn.2:16

4. His disciples remembered that it is written: Zeal for your house will consume me. Jn.2:17

*** Remember Jesus said: I am gentle and humble in heart!

D. Example three. Lk.13:31-33

1. At that time some Pharisees came to Jesus and said to him: Leave this place and go somewhere else.

    Herod wants to kill you. Lk.13:31

2. He replied: Go tell that fox, `I will drive out demons and heal people today and tomorrow,

    and on the third day I will reach my goal.' Lk.13:32

3. In any case, I must keep going today and tomorrow and the next day—

    for surely no prophet can die outside Jerusalem! Lk.13:33

E. Example four. Matt.16:21-23

1. Jesus began to explain to his disciples he must go to Jerusalem and suffer many things at the hands of the

   elders, chief priests and teachers of the law, and that he must be killed and on the third day be raised to life. Matt.16:22

2. Peter took him aside and began to rebuke him: Never, Lord!  This shall never happen to you! Matt.16:23

3. Jesus turned and said to Peter: Get behind me, Satan!

    You are a stumbling block to me; you do not have in mind the things of God, but the things of men. Matt.16:24

F. Conclusion: Marvel not at this: for the hour comes, in which all that are in the tombs shall hear his voice,

    and shall come forth; they that have done good, unto the resurrection of life;

    and they that have done evil, unto the resurrection of judgment. Jn.5:28-29
