What kind of people believe Jesus is the Son of God!?
A. 1 Jn.5:2-5-->
1. Hereby we know that we love the children of God,
when we love God and do his Commandments. 5:2 What does this mean?
2. For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments: and
his commandments are not grievous. 5:3
3. For whatsoever is begotten of God overcome the world: and this
is the victory that has overcome the world, our faith. And who is
he that overcome the world, but he that believe that Jesus is the
Son of God?
B. 1 John 4:20 If anyone says, "I love God," yet hates his brother, he
is a liar. For anyone who does not love his brother, whom he has
seen, cannot love God, whom he has not seen. (August 9, 2007)
C. 1 Jn.3:10--> This is how we know who the children of God are and who
the children of the devil are: Anyone who does not do what is right
is not a child of God; nor is anyone who does not love his brother.
1. One does not do what is right is not a child of God!
2. One does not love his brother is not a child of God!
D. 1 Jn.3:23 And this is his command: to believe in the name of his
Son, Jesus Christ, and to love one another as he commanded us.
E. Mk.12:28-30 Which is the most important commandments?
1. The Lord our God is one! Love the Lord with all your heart, all
your soul, all your mind and all your strength.
(This is clear and simple, but who can practice it!)
2. The 2nd is this: Love your neighbor as yourself!
F. Jn.13:34-35--> "A new command I give you: Love one another. As I
have loved you, so you must love one another. By this all men will
know that you are my disciples, if you love one another."
1. Love one another is a command from the Lord! What does this mean?
2. By this all men will know that you are a disciple of the Lord.
G. 1 Cor.16:22 If anyone does not love the Lord-- a curse be on him.
What is this "curse"? The who does not love God has become a curse!
H. 1 Peter 1:22-25 Seeing ye have purified your souls in your obedience
to the truth unto unfeigned love of the brethren, love one another
from the heart fervently: having been begotten again, not of
corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, through the word of God,
which lives and abides. For, all flesh is as grass, and all the
glory thereof as the flower of grass. The grass withered, and the
flower fall: 1:24 But the word of the Lord abides forever. And this
is the word of good tidings which was preached unto you. 1:25
1. How does one purify his soul?
2. Yes, by his obedience to the truth! But what does the truth says!
3. If the process of the above is biblical then this person should
be able to do the following!
In your obedience to the truth unto unfeigned love of the brethren.
Love one another from the heart fervently:
4. Why or how can one do this?
Having been begotten again, not of corruptible seed, the word of God!
The word of God is what the Bible says! (1 Peter 1:25)
5. So this has to do with whether one has been born the Bible way!
