A. Let us be clear!
1. You can love a human! You cannot own a human!
2. Things in the world are to own not to love!
We can own money but cannot love them! 1Tim.6:10, Heb.13:5
Do not love the world and things in the world! 1Jn.2:15
3. Man can gain the whole but do not lose your soul! Matt.16:26
4. It is good for a man not to touch a woman. 1Cor.7:1-2
But because of fornications, let each man have his own wife, and let each woman have her own husband.
5. Adam said it this way! Gen.2:22-23
His wife is bone of his bone and flesh of his flesh! Gen.2:23
B. God so love the world! Jn.3:16-18
1. For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son,
that whosoever believes in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. Jn.3:16
2. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world;
but that the world through him might be saved. Jn.3:17
3. He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already,
because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. Jn.3:18
4. Yes, God so love people of the world!
But it is whosoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life!
C. In giving to the church! 2Cor.9:7-9
1. Each man should give what he has decided in his heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion,
for God loves a cheerful giver. 2Cor.9:7
2. And God is able to make all grace abound to you,
so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work. 2Cor.9:8
3. As it is written: He has scattered abroad his gifts to the poor; his righteousness endures forever. 2Cor.9:9
D. Jesus put it this way! Mk.10:42-45
1. Jesus called them together and said: You know that those who are regarded
as rulers of the Gentiles lord it over them, and their high officials exercise authority over them. Mk.10:42
2. Not so with you. Instead, whoever wants to become great among you must be your servant. Mk.10:43
3. Whoever wants to be first must be slave of all. Mk.10:44
4. For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve,
and to give his life as a ransom for many. Mk.10:45
5. Jesus’ way is love them, serve them, gives his life for them! Makes them willing to be own!
E. A 76 years old gentleman came to this church!
1. He was baptized by 4 pastors in 4 different churches!
They baptized people into their church at that location!
2. When he came here! We study about baptism the Bible way!
3. None of his baptism was the Bible way!
4. So he asked: If I come to this church! Do I have to be baptized again!
5. I said: Yes, but it is not baptized again. It is baptized the Bible way!
6. He picked up his Bible and never come back!
7. Ownership baptism has cast billions of souls into hell!
8. Apostle Paul put it this way! 1Cor.9:19
Though I am free and belong to no man, I make myself a slave to everyone, to win as many as possible.
F. It is each one should test his own actions! Gal.6:4-8
1. Then he can take pride in himself, without comparing himself to somebody else. Gal.6:4
2. For each one should carry his own load. Gal.6:5
3. Anyone who receives instruction in the word must share all good things with his instructor. Gal.6:6
4. Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man sow, that shall he also reap. Gal.6:7
5. For he that sow unto his own flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption;
but he that sow unto the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap eternal life. Gal.6:8
G. Conclusion: It is you, yourself! Jn.5:39
1. To love is about what is good for him/her!
2. To own is about what is good for me!
3. You diligently study the Scriptures because you think that by them you possess eternal life. Jn.5:39
