Church name not in Bible will all go to hell?

Church name not in Bible will all go to hell?

(No one on earth can disagree!)

A. Church name is the tip above water as with an iceberg!

1. Church name represent a set of teaching!

2. That set of teaching is different to what Bible says!

3. This makes all people in that group go to hell!

B. Bible says these!

1. 2Jn.1:10-11

If anyone comes to you and does not bring this teaching, do not take him into your house

or welcome him.  Anyone who welcomes him shares in his wicked work.

2. Gal.1:8-9

But even if we or an angel from heaven should preach a gospel other than the one we preached to

you, let him be eternally condemned! As we have already said, so now I say again:

If anyone is preaching to you a gospel other than what you accepted, let him be condemned!

3. He writes the same way in all his letters, speaking in them of these matters.

His letters contain some things that are hard to understand, which ignorant and unstable people

distort, as they do the other Scriptures, to their own destruction. 2Pet.3:16

4. Mk.7:7

They worship me in vain; their teachings are but rules taught by men.

5. Mt 7:22-23

Many will say to me on that day: Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name,

and in your name drive out demons and perform many miracles?

Then I will tell them plainly, `I never knew you. Away from me, you evildoers!'

C. The saved are in church of Christ! Acts 2:47

1. Col 1:18

And he is the head of the body, the church; he is the beginning and the firstborn from among

the dead, so that in everything he might have the supremacy.

2. Ro.12:4-5

Just as each of us has one body with many members, and these members do not all have the same

function, so in Christ we who are many form one body, and each member belongs to all the others.

3. 1Cor.1:10

Now I beseech you, brethren, through the name of our Lord Jesus Christ,

    that ye all speak the same thing and (that) there be no denomination among you;

but ye be perfected together in the same mind and in the same judgment.

4. 1Cor.11:18

In the first place, I hear that when you come together as a church.

5. 1Cor.12:12-13

The body is a unit, though it is made up of many parts; and though all its parts are many,

they form one body. So it is with Christ.  For we were all baptized by one Spirit into one body—

whether Jews or Greeks, slave or free-- and we were all given the one Spirit to drink.

6. Eph.5:31-32 Christ and church are described as husband and wife!

For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife,

and the two will become one flesh.

This is a profound mystery-- but I am talking about Christ and the church.

7. John 15:5-6

    I am the vine; you are the branches. If a man remains in me and I in him, he will bear much fruit;

apart from me you can do nothing.   If anyone does not remain in me, he is like a branch that is

thrown away and withers; such branches are picked up, thrown into the fire and burned.

D. Conclusion: Matt.28:19-20

Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the

Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you.

And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age. Written November 7, 2019.
