Subject: Believe Jesus not in church of Christ commit more sins!
Preface:
1. Yes, God love people in the world this much!
For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son,
that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. Jn.3:16
2. God’s wrath remains on the unbelievers!
Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life, but whoever rejects the Son will not see life,
for God's wrath remains on him. Jn.3:36
A. Jesus declared: Some believers belong to the devil! John 8:31-32, 44.
To the Jews who had believed him, Jesus said:
If you hold to my teaching, you are really my disciples. Jn.8:31
Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free. Jn.8:32
B. Faith powerful enough to do these? Matt.7:22-23
Many will say to me on that day, `Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name,
and in your name drive out demons and perform many miracles?'
Then I will tell them plainly, `I never knew you. Away from me, you evildoers!'
C. The best effective way to show others is name of the church! James 2:18-19
But someone will say: You have faith; I have deeds.
Show me your faith without deeds, and I will show you my faith by what I do.
You believe that there is one God. Good! Even the demons believe that-- and shudder.
D. Smarter than those in church of Christ? Mk.7:7-13
E. More zealous in Sunday worship to God? Heb.10:26-31
F. How could they be this ignorance? Ro.7:15-17
G. Who in this world understand these scriptures!
Lk 8:11, Acts 14:23, 15:36, Ro.16:16-18
1 Cor.3:6 I planted the seed, Apollos watered it, but God made it grow.
H. Teachings cannot find in the Bible will be condemned!
Gal.1:8, 2Jn.1:10-11, Ro.16:17-20.
G. We are sure of what we preach!
1. All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in
righteousness, so that the man of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work. 2Tim.3:16-17
2. And we have the word of the prophets made more certain, and you will do well to pay attention to it,
as to a light shining in a dark place, until the day dawns and the morning star rises in your hearts.
3. Above all, you must understand that no prophecy of Scripture came about by the prophet's own
interpretation. For prophecy never had its origin in the will of man, but men spoke from God as they
were carried along by the Holy Spirit. 2Pet.1:19-21
4. He writes the same way in all his letters, speaking in them of these matters.
His letters contain some things that are hard to understand, which ignorant and unstable people
distort, as they do the other Scriptures, to their own destruction. 2 Pet.3:16
