Asperation!

Aspiration!

A. My life long aspiration is preaching good tidings! Ro.10:13-15

1. Whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. Ro.10:13

2. How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed?

and how shall they believe in him whom they have not heard?

and how shall they hear without a preacher? Ro.10:14

3. and how shall they preach, except they be sent?  Even as it is written,

How beautiful are the feet of them that bring glad tidings of good things! Ro.10:15

B. Angel brought us good tidings! Lk.2:8-14

1. And there were shepherds in the same country abiding in the field, and keeping watch by night over their

flock. And an angel of the Lord stood by them, and the glory of the Lord shone round about them:

and they were sore afraid. Lk.2:8-9

3. And the angel said unto them, Be not afraid; for behold, I bring you

good tidings of great joy which shall be to all the people: Lk.2:10

4. for there is born to you this day in the city of David a Savior, who is Christ the Lord. Lk.2:11

5. And this (is) the sign unto you:

Ye shall find a babe wrapped in swaddling clothes, and lying in a manger. Lk.2:12

6. And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God, and saying: Lk.2:13

Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace among men in whom he is well pleased. Lk.2:14

***All men become well pleased to God in church of Christ!

C. Jesus declared!

1. The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy;

I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full. Jn.10:10

2. Jesus did many other miraculous signs in the presence of his disciples,

which are not recorded in this book. Jn.20:30

3. But these are written that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God,

and that by believing you may have life in his name. Jn.20:31

4. For God so loved the world that he gave his begotten Son,

that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. Jn.3:16

5. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world,

but to save the world through him. Jn.3:17

6. Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe is condemned already

because he has not believed in the name of God's one and only Son. Jn.3:18

7. This is the verdict: Light has come into the world, but men loved darkness instead of light because their

    deeds were evil. Jn.3:19

8. Jesus said: I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace.

In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world. Jn.16:33

D. Through apostle Paul God said these! 2Cor.6:14-18

1. Be not unequally yoked with unbelievers: for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity?

or what communion hath light with darkness? 2Cor.6:14

2. And what concord hath Christ with Satan? Or what portion hath a believer with an unbeliever? 2Cor.6:15

3. And what agreement hath a temple of God with idols? For we are a temple of the living God;

    even as God said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them;

and I will be their God, and they shall be my people. 2Cor.6:16

4. Wherefore Come ye out from among them, and be ye separate, said the Lord.

And touch no unclean thing. And I will receive you. 2Cor.6:17

5. And will be to you a Father. And ye shall be to me sons and daughters, said the Lord Almighty.2Cor.6:18

E. Apostle Paul explained it this way! 2Cor.5:17-21

1. Wherefore if any man is in Christ, (he is) a new creature:

the old things are passed away; behold, they are become new. 2Cor.5:17

2. But all things are of God, who reconciled us to himself through Christ.

And gave unto us the ministry of reconciliation,

3. to wit, that God was in Christ reconciling the world unto himself, not reckoning unto them

their trespasses, and having committed unto us the word of reconciliation. 2Cor.5:18-19

4. We are ambassadors therefore on behalf of Christ, as though God were entreating by us: we beseech on

behalf of Christ, be ye reconciled to God. 2Cor.5:20

5. Him who knew no sin he made sin on our behalf; that we might become the righteousness of God in him. 2Cor.5:21

F. Conclusion: All men become the righteousness of God in church of Christ. No evil people on earth!

This is my life long aspiration!  May this be your aspiration too!

May the Lord bless you and keep you always!  Preach this January 20, 2020.
