Churches of Christ around the world!
A. Look around the world and your neighborhood!
1. See where God’s presence is honored besides the churches of Christ!
2. A church name that is not in the Bible do you see the presence of God being honored?!
3. Ask how they worship God on Sunday, do you see the presence of God being honored?!
4. Ask do they know what’s wrong with Jn.8:31 in their English Bible!
You may not find one in their world who knows what’s wrong with Jn.8:31 in their English Bible!
5. Why? Their places are not heavenly places!
6. Heavenly places are places where God’s presence is honored!
7. Now you know why we have to worship God according to Jn.4:24!
B. To the saints, the faithful in Christ Jesus Apostle Paul wrote! Eph.1:1
1. Heavenly places are places where worshipers are saints, the faithful in Christ Jesus! Eph.1:1
2. Although I am less than the least of all God's people, this grace was given me:
to preach to the Gentiles the unsearchable riches of Christ. Eph.3:8
3. and to make plain to everyone the administration of this mystery,
which for ages past was kept hidden in God, who created all things. Eph.3:9
*** Bible truth is to be made known to everyone!
This is the responsibility of leaders in the churches of Christ, the heavenly place!
4. God’s intent was that now, through the church, the manifold wisdom of God
should be made known to the rulers and authorities in the heavenly places, Eph.3:10
***Be sure to know ‘through the church’ means what church? What is the name of the church?
***Be sure to know who are the rulers and authorities in the heavenly places!?
5. according to his eternal purpose which he accomplished in Christ Jesus our Lord. Eph.3:11
***This is God’s eternal purpose to be accomplished in Christ Jesus our Lord!
***A church where people know not what’s wrong with Jn.8:31 in their English Bible?!
C. The truth is to be made know to the rulers and authorities in the heavenly places!
1. This is God’s eternal purpose!
2. Yes, leaders in church of Christ are granted to know the truth in the Bible!
3. If you are leaders in church of Christ, you have to know what’s wrong with Jn.8:31!
Remember this is God’s eternal purpose! To be accomplished in Christ Jesus our Lord!
4. If you do not know what’s wrong in Jn.8:31, you must make sure to know!
All saints, the faithful in Christ Jesus our Lord must know!
D. Why is so important to be leaders in the heavenly places?
1. God’s eternal purpose is through the church of Christ to evangelize the world!
2. People in churches of Christ must know the truth and able to bisect its contents!
3. The truth is able to save souls! There is no room for mistake! James 1:21
E. Follow what Apostle Peter taught is the one safe way! Acts 2:36-42
1. Therefore let all Israel be assured of this:
God has made this Jesus, whom you crucified, both Lord and Christ. Ac.2:36
2. When the people heard this, they were cut to the heart and said to Peter and the other apostles:
Brothers, what shall we do? Ac.2:37
3. Peter replied: Repent and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness
of your sins. And you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. Ac.2:38
4. The promise is for you and your children and for all who are far off—
for all whom the Lord our God will call. Ac.2:39
5. With many other words he warned them; and he pleaded with them:
Save yourselves from this corrupt generation. Ac.2:40
6. Those who accepted his message were baptized, and about 3000 were added to their number that day. Ac.2:41
7. They devoted themselves to the apostles' teaching and to the fellowship,
to the breaking of bread and to prayer. Ac.2:42
Conclusion:
1. God’s eternal purpose is that you know the truth and be saved in the churches of Christ!
2. But you have to decide to receive words preached to you and be baptized into this heavenly place!
