Preface: Watch out my dear brethren! Think about rainy days!
Yes! Think about the unexpected and retirement!
Unless it is for the Lord’s work sake! The Lord will take care of you!
When I was young I made this mistake too! I think only the Lord’s work!
They wanted to increase my salary! I refused to accept!
Now, I know my Father in heaven was smiling! He prepared for me! Otherwise, I starve to death!
1970 I resigned my preaching work with 2.4 H.K. dollar in checking! Full stomach of tears!
A. Yes, these scriptures are clear! Matt.6:33-34
1. But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.
2. Take therefore no thought for the morrow:
for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.
3. Some people take these teaching to live a pay check to pay check life style!
4. Covid-19 is teaching 30 million jobless people in America this is not the way to live!
Some line up to get free food, said, I used to bring food here to help others!
5. When I saw people line up for a mile to get free food I feel very sad for them!
6. Think about these people suddenly without pay check! But their monthly payment bills keep coming on time!
7. Each month when I pay bills, I feel horrible for those without pay check!
I think Mr. Warren Buffet and Bill Gate had lost many billions!
But they still have many more billions in store for themselves! The point is they are both set for life!
8. When you are without pay check you can live another year or two without being on line for free food!
B. Watch out for these scriptures! Matt.6:19-21, Phil.1:4-7
1. Go on web search for rich preachers and see how much their house worth!
2. Also see what kinds of transportation they use!
3. These are scriptures they use to pile up treasures for themselves!
4. Matt.6:19-21.
Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon the earth, where moth and rust consume, and where thieves break
through and steal: but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth consume,
and where thieves do not break through nor steal: for where thy treasure is, there will thy heart be also.
5. Phil 1:4-7 (When I preach on these, no one send me money!)
In all my prayers for all of you, I always pray with joy because of your partnership in the gospel from the
first day until now, being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion
until the day of Christ Jesus. It is right for me to feel this way about all of you, since I have you in my heart;
for whether I am in chains or defending and confirming the gospel, all of you share in God's grace with me.
C. Think about Luke 11:41!
1. But give for alms those things which are within; and behold, all things are clean unto you. Lk.11:41
2. To understand you have to study these scriptures also! Matt.6:21, Lk.11:37-42, Eph.4:28.
3. The key is in Eph.4:28
He who has been stealing must steal no longer, but must work, doing something useful with his own hands,
that he may have something to share with those in need. Eph.4:28
3. If you can trust my understanding, this is what it means!
***Give with what you can afford with a heart that is full of justice, mercy and faithfulness!
(Bill Gate gave 30 billion for alms also manage it himself! Not in God’s name! What a waste!)
D. Think about these scriptures together!
1. He who has been stealing must steal no longer, but must work, doing something useful with his own hands,
that he may have something to share with those in need. Eph.4:28
***This “have” should include without pay check you can still live a year or two without on line for free food!
2. You study to be quiet, and to do your own business, and to work with your own hands, as we commanded you.
That you may walk honestly toward them that are without, and that ye may have lack of nothing.1Thes.4:11-12
***What does this mean? As long as we live we can depend on God not any one other person!
Remember, person can change or die on us! Government can, you know what!
3. Command them to do good, to be rich in good deeds, and to be generous and willing to share. 1Tim.6:18
4. Through Jesus, therefore, let us continually offer to God a sacrifice of praise—
the fruit of lips that confess his name. And do not forget to do good and to share with others, for with such
sacrifices God is pleased. Heb.13:15-16
E. Conclusion: Never forget our eternal motto scriptures? Yes, 1 Peter 4:11!
If anyone speaks, he should do it as one speaking the very words of God.
If anyone serves, he should do it with the strength God provides, so that in all things God may be praised
through Jesus Christ. To him be the glory and the power for ever and ever. Amen.
May God grant you good health and peace! Written May 10, 2020.
