Scriptures for this study: Matt.6:33-34
Yes, take no thought for the morrow what does it mean?
Do not be anxious for in the morrow! This is the most wanted life on earth!
A. The prerequisites!
1. This kind of faith is needed!
I can do all things in him that strengthen me. Phil.4:13
2. From Matt.5:1-2 we know Jesus was teaching his disciples!
Now when he saw the crowds, he went up on a mountainside and sat down. His disciples came to him.
And he began to teach them, saying:
3. From Matt.5:3 we know only saved people are granted to know this truth!
Blessed are the poor in spirit: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
*** ‘The poor in spirit’ is a wrong translation!
All English Bibles translated this way! It should be translated as the poor in soul!
This truth only granted for the saved people to know!
4. From Matt.6:25, 27, 31
a. Therefore I say unto you: Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink; nor yet
for your body, what ye shall put on. Is not the life more than meat, and the body than raiment? Matt.6:25
b. Who of you by worrying can add a single hour to his life? Matt.6:27
*** ‘Add a single hour to his life’ only for body life on earth! Spirit and soul do not need!
c. Therefore take no thought, saying: What shall we eat? Or, What shall we drink?
Or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed? Matt.6:31
5. Then we come to Matt.6:33-34
a. But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.
b. Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself.
Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof. Matt.6:34
***There are four parts in these two verses:
a. Seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness.
b. All things needed for body life on earth shall be added unto you. (Remember this you are disciples!)
***Non-Disciples of Christ do not apply!
c. Take therefore no thought for the morrow.
d. For the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.
B. Somewhat like old American way of life! A group of organized people settled into a place!
1. The first thing they all do!
Everyone, including able children, participated in build a church building!
2. Sing praises to God and worship God every Sunday together!
3. Then they building each family their own houses! In this they helped each other!
4. Everyone including children living together as one family!
5. Everyone do their part of works share needs for each other!
6. When sick see the doctor in town.
7. Settle differences! The preacher has the final say! Enjoy life together day by day!
C. Finish things need done in all the Today!
1. Such as Today we decided to do repair for the church building!
2. All able people come with what needed to do his part of work!
3. Yes, in the tomorrow, becomes Today!
All things needed to do in the morrow, get done well!
4. Prepare things needed to do works in the morrow is Today's work!
5. When the morrow comes and become the Today! All are ready to do what needed done in the Today!
6. This way, thoughts for the morrow is not needed!
7. Everyone sleep well for the night and ready to do what need done when the morrow become the Today!
8. The key is --> Each Today’s works done well!
D. Conclusion: Back to Matt.5:48
Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect.
For body life on earth when we all become perfect as the Father in heaven is perfect!
No thought for the morrow is a reality!
But this blessing only for those know how to be perfect as the Father in heaven is perfect!
