John 3:16-->

For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that

whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.

(With the word for in at the beginning of the verse, we know this verse is in answer to a why!

therefore, please do not take this verse out of context to preach a salvation before or without

water baptism!  For if you preach a salvation without or before water baptism, you will be preaching

againt what Jesus said in Mark 16:!6, against what Peter preached in Acts 2:36-38, against what Philip

preached in Acts 8:35-38 and against what Paul said in Acts 22:12-16!)

1. Ro 3:23 For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.

   (Sin carried a death penalty!)

2. Ro 6:23 For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.

3. 2 Thes.1:6 God is just: He will pay back trouble to those who trouble you.

4. Ro 3:25-26 God presented him as a sacrifice of atonement, through faith in his blood.

   He did this to demonstrate his justice, because in his forbearance he had left the sins

   committed beforehand unpunished-- he did it to demonstrate his justice at the present time,

   so as to be just and the one who justifies those who have faith in Jesus.

5. 2 Cor.5:21--> Him who knew no sin he made (to be) sin on our behalf;

   that we might become the righteousness of God in him.

6. Mark 16:15-16-->

  Jesus said to them, "Go into all the world and preach the good news to all creation.

  Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved, but whoever does not believe will be condemned.

  (John 8:24 tells us, believe not is enough to be condemned!)

7. Ac 2:36-38-->

  "Therefore let all Israel be assured of this:

  God has made this Jesus, whom you crucified, both Lord and Christ."

  When the people heard this, they were cut to the heart and said to Peter and the other apostles,

  "Brothers, what shall we do?"

  Peter replied, "Repent and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the

  forgiveness of your sins.  You will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.

8. Ro 8:16-->

  The Spirit himself testifies with our spirit that we are God's children.

    May God bless you and keep you!  March 27, 2009.

(According to Acts 2:47 and Romans 16:16

we know the Lord Jesus Christ keeps all the saved people on earth in the churches of Christ!)
