A. Heb.13:7 and 17 must be practiced!
***Logically it is easy to see 1500 years ago the Italian rebels departed from the church of Christ!
They went against these Bible teachings!
1. As each of us has one body with many members, and these members do not all have the same function,
so in Christ we who are many form one body, and each member belongs to all the others. Ro.12:4-5
2. I appeal to you, brothers, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that
all of you agree with one another so that there may be no denominations among you and that you may
be perfectly united in mind and thought. 1Cor.1:10
3. It was he who gave some to be apostles, some to be prophets, some to be evangelists, and some to be elders
and teachers, to prepare God's people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up until
we all reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God and become mature, attaining to the
whole measure of the fullness of Christ. Then we will no longer be infants, tossed back and forth by the
waves, and blown here and there by every wind of teaching and by the cunning and craftiness of men in
their deceitful scheming. Eph.4:11-14 (Wind, variability, specious discourse lead others into error!) 417
4. Whatever happens, conduct yourselves in a manner worthy of the gospel of Christ.
Then, whether I come and see you or only hear about you in my absence, I will know that you stand firm
in one spirit, contending as one man for the faith of the gospel without being frightened in any way by
those who oppose you. This is a sign to them that they will be destroyed, but that you will be saved—
and that by God. Phil.1:27-28 (Contending as one man for the faith of the gospel!)
5. But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you
than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed. Gal.1:8
6. If there come any to you, and bring not this doctrine, receive him not into your house, neither bid him God
speed: bid him God speed is partaker of his evil deeds. 2Jn.1:10-11
7. And this I say, lest any man should beguile you with enticing words. Col.2:4
8. Beware of dogs, beware of evil workers, beware of the concision. Phil.3:2
9. For without are dogs, and sorcerers, and whoremongers, and murderers, and idolaters,
and whosoever love and make a lie. Rev.22:15
B. Had these teachings been practiced! Heb.13:7, 17
1. Remember them which have the rule over you, who have spoken unto you the word of God:
Considering the result of their conduct. Whose faith follow! Heb.13:7
2. Obey them that have the rule over you, and submit yourselves:
For they watch for your souls, as they that must give account, that they may do it with joy,
and not with grief: for that is unprofitable for you. Heb.13:17
C. These kinds of preachers and members are needed!
1. Study to show thyself approved to God, a workman that need not to be ashamed,
rightly dividing the word of truth. 2Tim.2:15
2. Preach words from the mouth of God. 1Peter 4:11 ***(Words found in the Bible!)
3. Earnestly contend for Bible truth which once delivered to the saints! Jude 1:3
4. But thou, O man of God, flee these things; and follow after righteousness, godliness, faith, love,
patience, meekness. 1Tim.6:11
5. Now in a great house there are not only vessels of gold and of silver, but also of wood and of earth;
and some unto honor, and some unto dishonor. 2Tim.2:20
6. If a man therefore purge himself from these, he shall be a vessel unto honor, sanctified,
meet for the master's use, prepared unto every good work. 2Tim.2:21
7. But flee youthful lusts, and follow after righteousness, faith, love, peace, with them that call on the Lord
out of a pure heart. 2Tim.2:22
8. I charge in the sight of God, and of Christ Jesus, who shall judge the living and the dead,
and by his appearing and his kingdom: Preach the word; be urgent in season, out of season; reprove,
rebuke, exhort, with all longsuffering and teaching. 2Tim.4:1-2
For the time will come when they will not endure the sound doctrine;
but, having itching ears, will heap to themselves teachers after their own lusts;
and will turn away their ears from the truth, and turn aside unto fables. 2Tim.4:3-4
9. But you be sober in all things, suffer hardship, do the work of an evangelist, fulfill thy ministry. 2Tim.4:5
10. Therefore, my dear brothers, stand firm. Let nothing move you. Always give yourselves fully to the work
of the Lord, because you know that your labor in the Lord is not in vain. 1Cor.15:58 Written July 11, 2020.
