How does the Spirit guide you into the truth?
To this I means the one truth intended at the time when the Apostles wrote them 2000 years ago!
A. It was this way 2000 years ago at the beginning of the church!
1. Jesus promised his disciple, after he went back to heaven he will send the Spirit to guide
them into all the truth. Jn.16:12-14
2. Jesus baptized them with the Holy Spirit from heaven so that they will know the truth and
become able to preach the gospel to the world without making mistake. Acts 1:5-8, 2:1-4
B. How does the Holy Spirit guide us into the truth nowadays?
1. Pro 2:1-7 You must strife to be this kind of people!
My son, if thou wilt receive my words, And lay up my commandments with thee;
So as to incline thine ear unto wisdom, And apply thy heart to understanding;
Yea, if thou cry after discernment, And lift up thy voice for understanding;
If thou seek her as silver, And search for her as for hid treasures: Then
shall thou understand the fear of Jehovah, And find the knowledge of God.
For God gives wisdom; Out of his mouth (cometh) knowledge and understanding:
He lay up true wisdom for the upright; (He is) a shield to them that walk in Integrity.
2. Acts 2:47 They must be in the church of Christ and live like this!
Praising God, and having favor with all the people. And the Lord added to them day by day those
that were saved.
3. Acts 17:11 You must crave to know the truth and are able to do this!
Now these were more noble than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the word with all
readiness of the mind, examining the Scriptures daily, whether these things were so.
C. In time you will understand the truth this way!
1. Ro.10:9--> to the saved in the church!
Because if you shall confess with thy mouth Jesus (as) Lord, and shall believe in thy heart that
God raised him from the dead, you shall be saved:
In due time Holy Spirit will guide you to link up this verse with Ro.10:4 and then link up with
Ro.1:7 then link up with Acts 15:1.
This way you know the truth originally intended 2000 years ago!
From 10:4 you know 10:9 was connected with Christ is the end of the law…
From 1:7 you know the book of Romans was written to the saved in the church!
Therefore, we must not use it for evangelism to the world!
From Acts 15:1 we know Ro.10:9 was for the saved to used against that group of dogs who tried
to tell the saved people in the church that they have to be circumcised and obey the law of Moses
to be saved!
2. Acts 16:31 --> to people in the world.
And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus, and thou shall be saved, thou and thy house.
The best the denomination can do is read Acts 16:30-31!
Acts 16:30 and brought them out and said, Sirs, what must I do to be saved?
This way they will have the question--> What must I do to be saved?
They answer: Believed on the Lord Jesus, you and your family will be saved!
This is how all the denomination are trapped and are unable to come out!
How does the Spirit guide us out of this trap?!
1. The Spirit will lead us into a church of Christ.
2. we have sincere faith and much desires to know the truth!
3. we are willing to let the Spirit help us to know the truth by constantly studying the Bible
and pray to God for mercy!
4. We strife to practice integrity to fit the criteria lay out in Pr.2:1-7!
5. In due time one by one God reveal the truth to us!
This is how we are teaching now, as you can see and read!
D. Now come back to understand Acts 16:31 correctly!
To do so, you must read Acts 16:30-34 and list the items.
1. The Spirit will help you to understand what you read of the Bible!
In order to understand Acts 16:31 correctly!
This means understand the one meaning originally intended when Paul wrote this!
One day while you are praying for wisdom to know the truth and you are studying.
Suddenly you will read Acts 16:30-34 and find out, 16:32 explains how and why they must believe
in the Lord Jesus!
After their abbreviated answer, Paul and Barnabas explain to them--> Then they spoke the word of
the Lord to him and to all the others in his house.
At that hour of the night the jailer took them and washed their wounds; (this was the act of
repentance) then immediately he and all his family were baptized…
So as we can see, the jailer and his family were saved the same way described in Acts 2:36-38
where Peter were preaching!
This way we know it was Jesus who told them in Mark 16:15-16-->
preach the gospel to all the world, he that believes and is baptized will be saved…
Peter preach it in Acts 2:36-38 and Paul preach the same in Acts 16:30-33!
According to Gal.1:8 this is the one gospel all have to preach! Otherwise, all others will be
eternally condemned!
D. To those had been baptized but sin again!
1 John 1:9 is the right scripture to use!
If we (the saved people in the church) confess our sins, God is faithful and just and will forgive
us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.
E. There were three different situation:
1. For the saved to defend themselves against those dogs who preach the saved in the church has to be
circumcised and obey the law of Moses. Ro.10:9
2. In case the baptized people sinned, the remedy is confess and pray to God for forgiveness of sin.
1 Jn.1:9
3. For people in all the world. Mark 16:15-16, Acts 2:36-38, Acts 16:30-33.
In all the world today, besides the churches of Christ, no others understand these truth!
As long as you are not in the church of Christ, you have no way to know this!
And only people who are understand Chinese culture to know this!
This is what we call ming zheng yan shun. (Literally translation: name has to be right then your
talk may be smooth!)
Conditions required for God to have mercy upon you to let you discover the one truth intended originally:
1. Some how you must be in a church of Christ!
The Roman Catholic hold on to the Bible for 1500 years, they still do not know these truth I am
writing right here! Anyone who knows the truth will be a member of the church of Christ!
The Protestant churches claim to preach what the Bible says for over 500 years, they still do not
know the truth!
April 5 2009 I studied with a nice older lady from Assembly of God church. She did not understand
Ro.10:9 correctly. she may be in all other churches for 50 years but she still does not know!
But when she came to church of Christ for one day she learned this! I ask her whill she come to
listen to my preaching, she said for the last 20 years she been attending this church! I said, yes,
you have attended that church for 20 years, but you were not taught this truth! while you are here in
the church of Christ for one day and you learned. So, are you going to waste another 20 years. If
you keep going to all those Protestant churches, you will never learned the truth!
Protestant churches claim to preach the truth in the Bible for 500 years but they still do not know
the truth!
2. Some how you have to determine to do righteousness while living as a Chrsitian!
Proverb chapter 2 verses 1-7 makes it clear. Our Father in heaven store up the truth for those who
are determined to know the truth and are willing to spend time to study God's words and willing to
remember and use it! Besides all these, they have to seek the truth like people in the world seek to
have money!
Did I tell you, I have been in N.Y.C. for 35 years. I am determined not to make money! I am
determined to study the Bible to discover the truth. By the mercy of God, a little at a time!
God revealed these truth to me! And now I am sharing them with you!
I know when you have these conditions, you will know the truth!
