A. Happenings in life!

1. Luke 7:12-15
a. Now when Jesus drew near to the gate of the city, behold, there was carried out one that was dead,
the only son of his mother, and she was a widow: and much people of the city was with her. Lk.7:12
b. When the Lord saw her, he had compassion on her, and said to her: Weep not. Lk.7:13
c. Then he went up and touched the coffin, and those carrying it stood still.
He said: Young man I say to you, get up! Lk.7:14
d. The dead man sat up and began to talk, and Jesus gave him back to his mother. Lk.7:15
2. Mark 3:1-6
a. Another time he went into the synagogue, and a man with a shriveled hand was there. Mk.3:1
b. Some of them were looking for a reason to accuse Jesus,
so they watched him closely to see if he would heal him on the Sabbath. Mk.3:2
c. Jesus said to the man with the shriveled hand: Stand up in front of everyone. Mk.3:3
d. Then Jesus asked them: Which is lawful on the Sabbath:
To do good or to do evil, to save life or to kill? But they remained silent. Mk.3:4
e. He looked around at them in anger and, deeply distressed at their stubborn hearts, said to the man:
Stretch out your hand. He stretched it out, and his hand was completely restored. Mk.3:5
B. This event is Supreme Court Nomination confirmation hearing! October 12-15, 2020.
The parties: Republican Senators, Democrat Senators, Judge Barrett!
In hearing each with an adopted agenda in questioning and answer!
1. Republican in favor with this nomination!
Because she is one who will apply the law as it was written.
2. Democrat against this nomination!
They think she will rule against what they supported.
3. Judge Barrett: I want to be confirmed!
She has a life-long ruling philosophy which is apply the law as it was written.
This was what all Supreme Court Justice supposed to do all the time!

C. My life-long promise to God!
If Lord willing I be a preacher, I will preach what says in the Bible as it was written!
In Hong Kong I found the church of Christ practiced what I expected!
1. Church name is church of Christ.
a. I found all Jesus believers know church name in the Bible is church of Christ!
b. I even found a poor couple started a church of Christ on their own in a small village!
c. When I led a group of young people do knocking on doors evangelizing in that small village!
d. We end up brought all who want to learn about believe Jesus to this church!
e. We never thought about start our kind of church!
f. At the time we were the only ones do evangelizing this way!
g. All others were trying to start their kinds of churches!
2. Motto scripture: 1 Peter 4:11
If any man speaks, let him speak as the oracles of God.
If any man minister, let him do it as of the ability which God gives.
That God in all things may be glorified through Jesus Christ.
To whom be praise and dominion for ever and ever. Amen.
3. Supplement scriptures: Gal.1:9-12
a. As we said before, so say I now again:
If any man preach any other gospel to you than that you have received, let him be accursed. Gal.1:9
b. For do I now persuade men, or God? or do I seek to please men?
For if I yet pleased men, I should not be the servant of Christ. Gal.1:10
c. But I certify you, brethren, that the gospel which was preached of me is not after man. Gal.1:11

Denomination is warped, sinful and self-condemned!
In life I found “Jesus believers” claim: I belong to so and so denomination church… (Senseless!)
Then I found the word translated as warped is sick head thinking up-side-down! (This is it!)
D. Conclusion: I am very blessed to be in church of Christ! You all are very blessed to be here!
