Theme: God will not remember their sins and iniquities! Heb.10:16-27
A. God loves to put the truth in human hearts! Heb.10:16
1. This is the covenant that I will make with them after those days, said the Lord:
I will put my laws into their hearts, and in their minds will I write them. Heb.10:16
*** First, we see translators do not know Bible truth!
This should be: into minds of the flesh and minds of the souls! But will people accept and obey?
This show Chinese and English Bible translators did not think about 1Thes.5:23 and Romans chapter 7!
2. Their sins and iniquities will I remember no more. Heb.10:17
*** This blessing only for people in church of Christ! Heb.10:19-20
3. Now where remission of these is, there is no more offering for sin. Heb.10:18
*** People in church of Christ no animal blood offering for forgiveness of sin is needed!
They pray to God for forgiveness of sins! 1Jn.1:9
4. Having therefore, brethren, boldness to enter into the most holy place by the blood of Jesus. Heb.10:19
a. Jesus’ blood was once for all time for forgiveness of sin. Matt.26:28
b. At time of water baptism the blood of Jesus wash away sins of the believers. Ac.2:38, 22:16.
c. While living as a member of the church of Christ sins are forgiven by prayers to God. 1Jn.1:9
5. By a new and living way, which he hath consecrated for us, through the curtain, his body. Heb.10:20
*** This is a new and forever way for salvation of souls in the church of Christ!
(Does not know his body is church of Christ must be non-Jesus believer!)
6. And having a high priest over the house of God. Heb.10:21
*** Jesus Christ is our forever high priest in the New Testament time!
B. Do these 4 God will not remember your sins! Heb.10:17
1. Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith,
having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our bodies washed with pure water. Heb.10:22
*** Body and soul are free of sin one can draw near to God with a true heart in full assurance of faith!
2. Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; for he is faithful that promised. Heb.10:23
a. No doubt God is forever faithful! What he promised will come true!
b. We have to hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering!
3. Let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works. Heb.10:24
*** Remember Eph.2:8-10?
a. For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith--
and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God-- not by works, so that no one can boast.
*** We are saved by grace through faith no need works on animal blood offerings!
b. For we are God's workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works,
which God prepared in advance for us to do. Eph.2:10
c. Faith without doing these good works is dead! James 2:17, 26
*** Doing these good works is the signs of a faith that is alive!
4. This is the heart of everything!
Let us not give up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but let us encourage one another—
and all the more as you see the Day approaching. Heb.10:25
5. For if we sin willfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth,
there remain no more sacrifice for sins, but a certain fearful looking for of judgment and fiery indignation,
which shall devour the adversaries. Heb.10:26-27
*** I have lots of stories on this!
a. Many dropped out of church of Christ always got worse none got better!
b. Some even went join denomination church!
c. They forget this--> Denomination man is sick head, thinking up-side-down, sinful and self-condemned!
d. Let me repeat! It is better not to believe Jesus if you are not in church of Christ!
*** Watch Euro “Jesus believers” forsake the assembling of themselves what they had become!?
C. Remember Apostle Peter’s: Save yourselves story? Acts2:40-42
1. And with many other words did he testify and exhort, saying:
Save yourselves from this untoward generation. Ac.2:40
2. Then they that gladly received his word were baptized:
And the same day there were added unto them about three thousand souls. Ac.2:41
3. And they continued steadfastly in the apostles' teaching and fellowship,
