A. Main Scripture for this study:
1. Let not then your good be evil spoken of. Ro.14:16
2. Church of Christ people argue about eat vegetable or eat all things!
3. The advice is not to judge each other!
4. The idea is not to cause others to fall!
5. The church of Christ is not about eating and drinking!
6. The church of Christ is about righteousness and peace and joy in the Holy Spirit!
7. It is promote harmony and grow of the church or otherwise!
B. Mission to feed cats around our church building!
1. 40 years ago a young lady lived next building did this for a long time!
Until she moved away! It was a good thing! But added more troubles for me to clean up.
I know not how to stop her! To her it was a good mission!
2. Recently another lady started the same for a few months!
3. Thank God this time I use this scripture to her and she stopped! May 14, 2021
4. Simply: Your good has become evil! Because your good added troubles to me every day!
5. I am a church of Christ preacher! This makes your good become evil doubled!
6. Thank God, so far she stopped!
C. 29 years of Chinese and Bible program, 1975-2004, was a good thing!
1. Watching children grew up to become decent American have to be good thing!
2. Still in the same building there were older American complained to authority many times!
3. Children made too much noise ... They did not come help they tried to stop us!
4. This is commercial zone! Everything we did was lawful!
5. We quit that program because our young people grew up and move on!
We needed 17 Chinese teachers and 15 Bible teachers!
6. Chinese teachers got paid over $600 a year we have to report to IRS!
7. Our good was spoken of as evil to those older American!
D. The Lord's Way was heresy? Ac.24:14
1. As recorded: But this I confess unto thee, that after the way which they call heresy,
so worship I the God of my fathers, believing all things which are written in the law and in the prophets.
2. 27 times NIV Bible says the way was good news!
3. Paul said the way was all things written in the Old Testament Bible!
4. These said the way was heresy were people insist in keeping Old Testament!
5. Steven described these people this way! Ac.7:51-53
a. You stiff-necked people, with uncircumcised hearts and ears!
You are just like your fathers: You always resist the Holy Spirit! Ac.17:51
b. Was there ever a prophet your fathers did not persecute?
They even killed those who predicted the coming of the Righteous One.
And now you have betrayed and murdered hi -- Ac.17:52
c. You who have received the law that was put into effect through angels but have not obeyed it." Ac.17:53
E. The way taught these:
1. Flee from fornication. …. 1Cor.6:18
2. Therefore, my dear friends flee from idolatry. 1Cor.10:14
3. But you, man of God,
flee from all this, and pursue righteousness, godliness, faith, love, endurance and gentleness. 1Tim.6:11
4. Flee the evil desires of youth, and pursue righteousness, faith, love and peace, along with those who call
on the Lord out of a pure heart. 2Tim.2:22
5. He who has been stealing must steal no longer, but must work, doing something useful with his own hands,
that he may have something to share with those in need. Eph.4:28
6. Submit yourselves to every ordinance of man for the Lord's sake: 1Pet.2:13
7. For, "Whoever would love life and see good days must keep his tongue from evil and his lips from
deceitful speech. He must turn from evil and do good; he must seek peace and pursue it. 1Pet.3:10-11
F. Conclusion: James 4:7
1. We must obey God rather than stiff-necked men! Ac.5:29
2. Submit yourselves, then, to God. Set one’s self against the devil, and he will flee from you. James 4:7

Yes, your good can be spoken of as evil! Romans chapter 14.
My body, my time… I can do with it the way I see fit? Think thrice not just twice!
A. The day you became an American!
1. You have to recite the allegiance to America!
2. That means your body from then on belong to America!
3. America can draft you to fight in war and be killed on battle field!
4. Your “my body, my time I can do with it the way I see fit” not fit!
5. It is good to be an American! But are you acting like an American?
6. When you do shameful things you shame America!
7. Your good can be spoken of as evil!
B. Eat Kentucky Chicken or bitter melon!
1. I love to eat K.C. My wife love to see I eat bitter melon!
2. My eating K.C. can be spoken of as evil!
3. Suddenly you found your body does not belong to you only!
4. Your mother gave birth to that body!
5. Your father worked to feed that body!
6. Your family and society educated your body!
7. Once you are married, your body belongs to your spouse! 1Cor.7:4
8. Once you believe Jesus and was baptized you are slave to righteousness! Ro.6:22
Your body has become the temple of the Holy Spirit! 1Cor.3:16, 6:19-20
9. Destroy your body? God will put you in hell forever! 1Cor.3:17
C. Only God can be really free!
1. Yes, only one who is the beginning and the end!
Yes, only the I AM can be really free!
2. The Bible described this is God!
3. God is really free! No one gave birth to God!
4. God is Spirit! No one has to give birth to God’s body! Jn.4:24
5. God created the earth and everything in it! Ac.17:24-26
6. God created man and from the man created all nations of men! Ac.17:26
7. God also prepared a paradise and a heaven for obedience human!
8. God created us for his glory! Be sure to do things that glorify God!
9. God prepared eternal fire for people who do “good things” be spoke of as evil!
D. Being a preacher is a good thing?
1. Apostle John spoken of preachers’ works as evil deeds! 2Jn.1:10-11
2. Apostle Peter spoken of preachers who distort Bible truth to their destructions! 2Pet.3:16
3. Apostle Paul spoken of anyone preaches a gospel not the same to the one he preached will be in hell!
4. Jesus spoken of blind guides and their followers both in hell!
5. Those preached, cast out demons, performed miracles in Jesus’ name are evil doers! Matt.7:22-23
6. Be a preacher who preaches what Paul preached no one can spoken of as evil!
7. 30 some years ago one said: Brother Chan you preach like you are Apostle Paul but you are not him!
This is the best compliment any preacher on earth can get!
E. To the one who feed cat in the neighborhood!
1. Believe Jesus, study the Bible and be a preacher of Bible truth as I do!
2. Raise enough money to buy a building with a parking lot!
3. Hire a worker to do clean up after feeding cat!
4. This way no one spoken of your good as evil!
5. When you feed cat at this church parking lot you add burden to the preacher!
Thus your “good” is evil! You add trouble to the preacher! Your evil is double!
6. Yes, do as I do! Be a preacher of the truth in the Bible God will give you enough to feed cat!
7. God did not give you the ability and what it takes to feed cat without adding troubles to others!
Your feeding cat is evil! Not good! 1Peter 4:11
8. You know it is evil! It is work of Satan! You did this in the dark!
9. Come learn from me, if you really love cat! Stop doing “good”!
