#1 Reject normal way to know God! Ro.1:18-21
1. The wrath of God is being revealed from heaven against all the godlessness and wickedness of men
who suppress the truth by their wickedness, since what may be known about God is plain to them,
because God has made it plain to them. Ro.1:18-19
2. For since the creation of the world God's invisible qualities-- his eternal power and divine nature —
have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that men are without excuse.
3. For although they knew God, they neither glorified him as God nor gave thanks to him,
but their thinking became futile and their foolish hearts were darkened. Ro.1:21
*** God’s invisible qualities… clearly seen, being understood from what has been made.
*** Men are without excuse not to know God!
*** They knew God but refuse to glorify him as God!
4. Example: Long time ago we invited a Queen’s College professor and wife for dinner!
Afterward we chatted! I asked: Why are you not a Jesus believer?
He said: Because I cannot see God!
I asked: Do you love your wife? He said: Yes, I do.
I said: Let me see your love. His wife answered for him: He got you!
5. Their thinking became futile and their foolish hearts were darkened!
#2 Distort Apostle Paul's writings to their destruction! 2Pet.3:16-17
1. He writes the same way in all his letters, speaking in them of these matters.
His letters contain some things that are hard to understand, which ignorant and unstable people
distort as they do the other Scriptures, to their own destruction. 2Pet.3:16
2. Therefore, dear friends, since you already know this, be on your guard so that you may not be carried
away by the error of lawless men and fall from your secure position. 2Pet.3:17
3. Example: The book of Romans is the most distorted!
I have yet to find one Romans commentary have stated the correct purpose!
4. The most commonly distorted scriptures are Romans 10:9-10!
That if you confess with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord," and believe in your heart that God raised him
from the dead, you will be saved. Ro.10:9
For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified,
and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved. Ro.10:10
5. Attention please: Romans was written to defend the decision in Acts 15:1-28!
Salvation of the soul is by believe and be baptized! Mk.16:15-16
Obedience to O.T. and circumcision are not needed! See Ro.1:7 to understand!
6. As a result they created a New Testament Christianity! Christianity is the devil’s trap!
7. All normal human need to verify is read News Papers on what Christianity people are doing!
*** By what they did you know who they are!
#3 Willfully miss-interpret Bible truth!
1. Religious leaders and their people charged Apostle Paul: Ac.18:13
They charged: This man is persuading the people to worship God in ways contrary to the law.
2. Apostle Paul said: However, I admit that I worship the God of our fathers as a follower of the Way,
which they call heresy.
I believe everything that agrees with the Law and that is written in the Prophets. Ac.24:14
3. How evil can people be as to say Jesus’ teaching was heresy!
4. “Seeing is believing” is commonly practiced in human daily life!
Why is it people do not apply the same in believing Jesus!
5. One even use an unified answer: We have our own interpretation!
#4 Openly scorn the name of God!
1. I appeal to you, brothers, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ,
that all of you agree with one another so that there may be no denominations among you and
that you may be perfectly united in mind and thought. 1Cor.1:10
2. Seeing is believing? Look around your own neighborhood denominations churches are everywhere!
3. I urge you, brothers, to watch out for those who cause denominations and put obstacles in your way
that are contrary to the teaching you have learned. Keep away from them. Ro.16:17
*** Yes! In the name of our Lord Jesus Christ stay away from denomination people!
They go join them!
4. God cannot be mocked? Gal.6:7
Fall into the hands of God is horrible? Heb.10:31
Let it come on me! Ha! Ha!
