Beware of devilish minded people in the church.
A. 2 Cor.11:13
There were false apostles, deceitful workers, fashioning themselves into apostles of Christ.
1. Apostles were able to heal the sick, raise the dead, cleanse leprosy and drive out demons.
Matt.10:5-8
The easiest way to test them is take them to a funeral home and ask them to raise the dead!
I guarantee, not one dare to take this test!
2. Apostles of Christ know the truth in the Bible thoroughly. Jn.16:12-14
See if they know how to connect John 3:16 to Mark 16:16 and Acts 2:38.
False apostles are not able to do this!
3. If they are not in a church of Christ, they cannot be apostles!
Matt. 16:18, Romans 16:16, Acts 2:47, Ro.12:5, Jn.17:20-23.
B. 2 Cor.11:14
And no marvel; for even Satan fashioned himself into an angel of light.
It is no great thing therefore if his ministers also fashion themselves as ministers of righteousness,
whose end shall be according to their works.
1. “Their end shall be according to their works”! Matt.25:41
We know what is their end! God has prepared eternal fire for them!
2. “Fashioned himself into an angel of light”.
This means they are nice looking people! You have to talk to them!
Then you will find they cannot let their yes be yes and their no be no!
Saved ones are able to let their yes be yes and their no be no! Mtt.5:37
3. Their hearts are fully occupied by many others things.
The truth in the Bible finds no room in their hearts! Jn.8:37
C. Devilish people distort the truth in the Bible! Ac.13:9-10, 20:29-30
1. When they find a scripture which disagree with their practice they try to distort the meaning
of the scripture rather than rectify their wrong!
Such as the name of the church according to Matt.16:18 and Romans 16:16 is church of Christ!
They say, since the word “churches” does not start with a capital “C”
therefore this is not a proper name!
And they use this argument to justify the name which they called their church!
To me this is the most severe insult to the Lord Jesus Christ!
They can never understand the word “churches” here in
Romans 16:16 do not start with a big “C” is because the church is the body of Christ.
The body can’t separate from its head and assume its own name! Col.1:18
2. When they find what Jesus said in Mark 16:16 contradict their faith alone saved message,
they take apart the verse into 2 parts and use the 2nd part to destroy the meaning of the
1st part! They said, since 2nd part didn’t say he who believes not and baptized not will be
condemned, therefore, 1st part that says, “he who believes and is baptized will be saved”
does not mean what it says!
I said, this is devilish at its best!
By the grace of God, I am here to expose them!
And you are blessed to be here to hear I preach or just read this!
D. Devilish people can’t deal with justice!
1. 1 Peter 5:8, they look around looking for weaker people to devour!
2. 1 John 3:10, In this the children of God are manifest, and the children of the devil: whosoever does not do righteousness is not of God,…
E. Conclusion:
Amos 5:21-24, Remember without doing righteousness all religious activities are in vain!
Proverb 15:9, The Lord detests the way of the wicked but He loves those who work righteousness!
