How the Spirit helped me find the gospel Paul preached! (7)
A. This is number 7 in my salvation series!
By now everyone should know the gospel Paul preached is:
Hear the message of the Lord (Acts 16:32), believe Jesus Christ is the Son of God (Acts 8:35-38), repent and be baptized for
remission of sins (Acts 2:38), receive gift of the Spirit (Acts 2:38),
live as a child of God in a church of Christ (Ro.8:16, Acts 2:47) (Never any church!!!)
B. Educated denomination preachers preach the following wrong salvation plan!
Believe and receive Jesus as Lord of your life, repent and confess your sins, pray to the Father in heaven for forgiveness of sins,
become a new creature in the family of God, chose a church of your choice to worship God and live a consecrated life to glorify God.
The key point in this plan is there is no water baptism!
C. The major scriptures they quote to support this plan are:
1. 1 Jn.1:7-10--> But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus,
his Son, purifies us from all sin. If we claim to be without sin, we deceive ourselves and the truth is not in us.
If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness. 1:8-9
If we claim we have not sinned, we make him out to be a liar and his word has no place in our lives. 1:10
Attention: Believe, repent and baptism are not among these scriptures!
By the grace of God, I know exactly why!
From the beginning of the book and the above praise we know the scriptures are about those who had believe, repent and baptized
children of God! Not about what must people of the world do to be saved!
These scriptures are about what must a child of God do if he committed sin!
He must confess his sin and pray to God for forgiveness of his sin!
As 1:9 saysà If we, children of God, confess our sins, God is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us
from all unrighteousness!
2. Matt.10:32-33à Every one therefore who shall confess me before men, him will I also confess before my Father who is in heaven.
But whosoever shall deny me before men, him will I also deny before my Father who is in heaven.
Attention: Believe, repent and baptism are not among these scriptures!
By the grace of God I know exactly why!
Please read Matt.10:1à He called his twelve disciples to him and gave them authority to drive out evil spirits and to heal
every disease and sickness.
… Every one therefore who shall confess me before men, him will I also confess before my Father who is in heaven. (10:32)
But whosoever shall deny me before men, him will I also deny before my Father who is in heaven. (10:32)…
Matt.11:1--> After Jesus had finished instructing his 12 disciples….
Again this is a case of good medicine for the wrong sick people!
Matthew chapter 10 was about what will happen when the gospel was preached!
A person may decide to follow Jesus. His decision may cause other family members to persecuted him, even get him killed! …
This was why Jesus told them, the 12 disciples, do not be afraid of those who can kill body not soul.
But be afraid of the one who can destroy both body and soul …
Especially for Peter, for fear of body death he denied Jesus 3 times!
Even risk death of the body, do not deny Jesus is your Lord!
If you do, you are not worthy to be my disciple!
Nowadays, people can’t even give up TV so they can come on time to worship!
May God has mercy on all who follow the salvation plan without baptism!
