掌握你自己身体的所有权!(帖前4:4)
一. 你是唯一掌握你自己的身体的主人!
1.圣经清楚的吩咐,你要知道怎样掌握你自己的身体,叫你的身体圣洁和尊贵.
和合本圣经这样翻译-->要你们各人晓得怎样用圣洁,尊贵守着自己的身体.
2.正如人买了房子,付了价银,签好约,房子就是你自己的!从此你要负责保养. 有权使用那房子.
3.又好像人买了车,付了价银,签好约,车子从此就是你的.你要全权负责车子的安全和健康…!
二. 对结婚的人来说事情就变成很复杂!
1.哥林多前书7:4节-->妻子没有权柄主张自己的身体,乃在丈夫. 丈夫也没有权柄主张自己的身体,乃在妻子.
2.马可10:6-8节.从起初创造的时候,神造人,是造男造女.因此,人要离开父 母,与妻子连合,二人成为一体.
既然如此,夫妻不再是两个人,乃是一体了.
三. 主要每一位信主的人保持身体圣洁和无疵!(弗5:25-27)
作丈夫的,要爱你们的妻子如同基督爱教会.他为教会牺牲自己的生命.
他用水藉着道使他们成圣.他要将教会献给自己作一个没有沾污,无皱纹,无疵的教会.
四. 将来在天堂里的就是这样的人!(彼后3:10-14)
主的日子将要像贼来到一样.天将有响声变成无有,地上的物质要像火消化. 地上所有物质都要变成无有.(3:10)
因物质都要这样烧灭,你们当怎样做人!你们当有圣洁和神圣的生命.(3:11) 正如你们渴望神的日子快快来到.
那日天要被火烧灭.所有物质都会被热融化.(3:12) 但我们照他的应许盼望新天新地,有义人居住在其中.(3:13)
亲爱的弟兄啊,你们既盼望这些事,就当殷勤,使自己没有沾污,无可指责,安然见主.
五. 我们怎样成功的这样做?(罗6:13,8:13)
1. 不许可你身上的肢体被用作犯罪的工具.
2. 将身上的肢体献给神,用作正义的工具.
3. 用圣灵的智慧能力灭绝身体的恶欲.(罗8:13)
4. 主耶稣口中所说的话就是灵就是生命.(约6:63)
所以信主的人必须熟读圣经,明白真理,并常常使用真理,消灭犯罪的念头.
愿赐平安的神,亲自使你们全然成圣.又愿你们的灵,魂,和身体得蒙保守,
在我们主耶稣基督降临的时候,完全无可指责.帖前5:23 零七年六月十八日
Take ownership of your body! (1 Thes.4:4)
A. You alone have the exclusive ownership of your body!
1. From word translation Bible in Greek order-->
To know each one of you of himself vessel to possess in sanctification and honor.
2. From NRSV translation-->
That each one of you know how to control your own body in holiness and honor.
3. As in buying a house, at time of closing, you take exclusive ownership of the house.
From then on you are responsible to up keep the house and the house is yours to live or otherwise.
Or as in buying a car, after you have paid the full price, the car is yours.
From then on you are responsible for the welling being of the car!
B. Being married make things complicated!
1. 1 Cor.7:4--> The wife does not have authority over her own body, but the husband does;
likewise the husband does not have authority over his own body, but the wife does.
(This may be one reason why it is good for a man not to marry!)
2. Mark 10:6-8--> But from the beginning of the creation, Male and female made he them.
For this cause shall a man leave his father and mother, and shall cleave to his wife;
and the two shall become one flesh: so that they are no more two, but one flesh.
C. The Lord wants you to keep your body holy and blameless!
Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ loved the church.
He gave his life for the church.
He used a washing of water through the message to make them holy.
He wanted to give to himself a church that does not have stain or wrinkle or blemish! (Eph.5:25-27)
D. It is this kind of people will be in heaven!(2 Pet.3:10-14)
3:10--> The day of the Lord will come like a thief.
The heavens will disappear with a roar;
the elements will be destroyed by fire, and the earth and everything in it will be laid bare.
3:11--> Since everything will be destroyed in this way, what kind of people ought you to be?
You ought to live holy and godly lives.
3:12--> as you look forward to the day of God and speed its coming.
That day will bring about the destruction of the heavens by fire, and the elements will melt in the heat.
3:13 But in keeping with his promise we are looking forward to a new heaven and a new earth, the home of righteousness.
3:14 So then, dear friends, since you are looking forward to this, make every effort to be found in peace, without spot and blameless in his sight.
E. How may we accomplish this? (Ro.6:13, Ro.8:13)
1. Don’t allow the parts of your body to be used as tools for sin.
2. Offer the parts of your body to God as tools for righteousness.
3. Use the Spirit to kill the desires of the body! (Ro.8:13)
4. The Spirit is the words of God in the Bible! (Jn.6:63)
May your whole spirit, soul and body be kept blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.
