Quality of life and obeying rules. (1)
In normal situation, rules are established to bring about quality of life!
The more we abide by the rules, the better quality of life we may have.
A. How wonderful if we all have this kind of conscience!
1. Paul, looking steadfastly on the council, said, Brethren, I have lived before God
in all good conscience until this day. Acts 23:1
2. Can anyone say these words today in our world?
Are you living before God! No, you don’t even believe in this God?
Are you living your life in all good conscience until this day?
3. Herein I also exercise myself to have a conscience void of offence toward God
and men always. Acts 24:16
Are you taking pains training yourself to live a life according to a conscience that is void of offence
toward God and men always?
B. Only if we obey this following instruction! Deu.6:4-5
1. O, Israel: The Lord our God, he is one! Deu.6:4
You must love this one god with all your heart, soul and might. Deu.6:5
Jesus put it this way in Mark 12:28-33 A teacher of the law asked:
Of all the commandments, which is the most important? Mk.12:28
Jesus answered: The most important one is: The Lord our God is one.12:29
Love the Lord with all your heart, soul, mind and might. Mk.12:30
The teacher of the law who asked the question commented:
You are right in saying God is one and there is no other besides him!
To love him with all your heart, with all your understanding, and might is more important than
all burnt offerings and sacrifices. Mk.12:32-33
2. Have you seen a nation on earth has this one rule in their constitution?
I know the answer is no! Now you know why there are so much sufferings!
C. Only if we do this following instruction! Deu.6:6-9
1. These commandments that I give you today are to be upon your hearts. 6:6
Yes, now we are talking about what Jesus taught in the New Testament!
People on earth don’t even know what Jesus taught in Matthew chapter 5?
2. Impress them on your children. Deu.6:7
Have you seen a parent do this in your life so far?
3. Talk about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road,
when you lie down and when you get up. Deu.6:8
Yes, when you dine with your family, friends, what do you talk about?
4. Tie them as symbols on your hands and bind them on your foreheads. 6:9
What do people tie on their hands and bind on their foreheads?
5. Write them on the doorframes of your houses and on your gates. 6:9
Look around and see what people write on their doorframes….
D. If you do the above, this you will get! Deu.6:10-11
The LORD your God brings you into the land he swore to your fathers, to Abraham, Isaac and Jacob,
to give you--a land with large, flourishing cities you did not build, houses filled with all kinds
of good things you did not provide, wells you did not dig, and vineyards and olive groves you
did not plant-- then when you eat and are satisfied.
E. What happen if you failed to do this? Deu.6:12-15
Be careful that you do not forget the LORD, who brought you out of Egypt, out of the land of slavery.
Fear the LORD your God, serve him only and take your oaths in his name.
Do not follow other gods, the gods of the peoples around you; for the LORD your God, who is among you,
is a jealous God and his anger will burn against you, and he will destroy you from the face of the land.

May the Lord bless you and keep you always. Preach this on June 27, 2010.
