A. We believe God is Almighty!

him and said, "I am God Almighty; walk before me and be blameless.
2. Matt.5:48--> Be as perfect as your heavenly Father is perfect!
B. At the time of creation.

that the light was good, and he separated the light from the darkness.

6. Gen.1:27--> So God created man in his own image, in the image of God he
created him; male and female he created them.

C. God did not create the world to be perfect!
1. Gen.2:8-9--> Now the LORD God had planted a garden in the east, in Eden;
and there he put the man he had formed. And the LORD God made all kinds
of trees grow out of the ground-- trees that were pleasing to the eye
and good for food. In the middle of the garden were the tree of life and
the tree of the knowledge of good and evil.
2. Gen.2:16-17--> The LORD God commanded the man, "You are free to eat from
any tree in the garden; but you must not eat from the tree of the
knowledge of good and evil, for when you eat of it you will surely die."
3. Matt.26:24 The Son of Man will go just as it is written about him. But
woe to that man who betrays the Son of Man! It would be better for him
if he had not been born."
4. From the above information, we know God did not create a perfect world!
D. Chelsea Clinton married Marc on July 31, 2010.
1. A News Paper reported this event this way:
This is a beautiful and perfect wedding event!
The old Clintons said: We can’t as for a more perfect and beautiful day!
2. Anyone really think this is a beautiful and perfect wedding event?
You mean during the event there is not even one mishap?
3. How about this thing called, “nothing is perfect” in this world.
But we still think, say and treat it as perfect!
E. If you look or perfection, there is no quality life!
But if we settle for the followings, we may have a happy life!
1. Phil.3:14 One thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and straining toward
what is ahead, I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God
has called me heaven ward in Christ Jesus.
2. Phil.4:11 I am not saying this because I am in need, for I have learned
to be content whatever the circumstances.
3. 1 Tim.6:8 If we have food and clothing, we will be content with that.
4. Heb.13:5 Keep your lives free from the love of money and be content with
what you have, because God has said, "Never will I leave you; never will
I forsake you."
5. Jn.16:32 But a time is coming, and has come, when you will be scattered,
each to his own home. You will leave me all alone. Yet I am not alone,
for my Father is with me.
May the Lord bless you always! Preach this on August 8, 2010.
